I know it won't happen but imagine the sinner Adam theory becomes Canon and him and Lute sing a reprise of "Hell is Forever" where Lute tells him she'll stick by him forever, even in hell 😭

As Long As You're Happy...
In all the polytrix/kpdh fics I read, Rumi's dad is a demon even before he meets her mom (except in a few fics where Miyeong herself was actually the demon, which is a cool take). And while I do think him being a demon from the start is likely the canon and more compelling direction for the story, I'm kinda curious about what it would've been like if they fell in love before he sold his soul to Gwi–Ma.
Imagine the betrayal Miyeong might feel. Imagine how outraged Celine might be. Imagine Miyeong taking the time to understand his actions and see beyond his demonhood because she loves him, and deep down, he's still the same man she knew before.
But Celine refuses to believe that he's the same. She refuses to believe that his love for Miyeong is still intact (and maybe if you want to go the "Celine was in love with Miyeong" route, she convinces herself getting rid of him is the best option because she's jealous). So she kills him.
And Miyeong tries to understand that Celine was just doing her duty. She tries to see things the way Celine did... But she can't, because that was the man she loved and Celine killed him. Celine not only killed a demon but she killed a friend she used to know... And Miyeong can't look past it.
But she has to because she can't raise Rumi alone.
Like IMAGINE the SHAKESPEAREAN LEVEL tragedy. Wouldn't that be so cool???
