So we had a secret Santa exchange at work & I didn’t tell my roommates that we did…. I got a thing set it up knowing one normally comes out for a drink of water at 1am….

Things I’ve said over the past week that most people don’t normally hear outside of my family (since I moved into dorms) :

“Well if they didn’t want to be lonely turn off the lights and put on a horror movie; that will do the trick.”

“Listen, I’m not very good at most things in life, but the one thing I have is making chaos.”

Me with a shit memory: *has same conversation with my dorm mate 7 times each time she got more aggressive*

“I don’t know man, I was always told that common sense is like deodorant: the people who need it most don’t use it.”

“What do you mean good night??? It’s not even midnight.”

“Whelp if you need me I’ll be up for another 4 hours.”

Me: “you know how sometimes you dissociate so hard your 1 hour walk turns into 4 or 5 hours?”

Dormmate: “No????”

“Look instead of running lets just do sword fighting for cardio.”

“I one time almost gave someone a concussion once because they didn’t listen to me.”

I miss my roommate (she hasn't left yet.) I don't know how to be on my own anymoreeeeee (she'll be back next year.) I'm gonna be so lonelyyyyyyyyyyy (I'm going to be living at uni with how much work I have to do and I'll leave to parents in few weeks too) but what about making warm drinks and baking to each other :(( (we can do it when we get back) but what about movie nights?? (we talk about em more often than watch em) ääääääääääääääääääääää

I don’t know who NEEDS to hear this but:

Sometimes self care isn’t just a spa day or having a day off. Sometimes it’s FREAKING TAKING CARE OF SHIT! Such as cleaning/organizing your living space!!! It is also COMMUNICATING WITH THE PEOPLE YOU LIVE WITH!!! So that way when shit goes WRONG they don’t find out after having to throw half your shit away and pack of the other half that you decided to leave behind!!! Or they don’t find out shit after the fact & now will have to spend a few weeks fixing the problem despite the fact the problem moved out!

So yesterday I had a cop search my dorm room & when he came out into our common area he announced to everyone, « I found no drugs, just a lot of art stuff. »

Things I was told by my roommate today but I forgot the context:

“I will tell you the same thing I’m about to tell *insert Marching Band Director’s name*: your best isn’t good enough.”

Will my roommate get upset at me if I make any noise? Probably not. 

Am I going to stay as completely quiet as I can during this entire semester? Definitely.

Forgot to email my roommate for like a week, ah ha ha
