Hello! My name is Doina (like “toy” but with a “d”). Although I have this blog for two years now or something, I decided to make an intro post in order to meet new people in this community.

kinda new studyblr 💫

hello hello i’m gonna keep this short n sweet so no need to pull out the lawn chairs and heat up the bbq alright so my name’s ria and i’m a first year college student from canada who has returned from a long hiatus to focus on my mental health but I’m back and ready to work harder than ever!

few things about me 

• this will be my first full semester despite starting in september

• I graduated back in 2016 & entered university at the 93th percentile whilst receiving 3 awards supplied w scholarships (which sadly went down the drain but made my “first” term less of a burden :////) 

• I used to be a economics major with a specialty in gpe but switched to general science and hope to make it into biochem although my options are pretty open 

• I struggle from depression, anxiety and bpd (so if i ever sound brusque and/or aggressive in my responses that’s why and i’m sorry :///)

• my hobbies when I’m not at school or work is reading, writing, volleyball, track & field and living at the local buffet with my 10 piece honey bbq wings

sigh so much for keeping it short and sweet but i’m so glad to be in the studyblr community and I hope to meet so many more people to befriend and share the same love for food and colour coded notes so like/reblog and i’ll follow you! it’s midterm season right now so it’ll be a bit difficult to respond quickly but i’ll do my best to respond in a timely fashion.

◎ Favourite colour: hard to tell, but pastels mostly ^^ and rose gold

◎ Lipstick or chapstick: hmm, between these two chapstick all the way. but I mostly prefer lip balms (The Body Shop ones are the best, EOS is a lie)

◎ Last song I listened to: I Cheated, G-Dragon & Park Myung Soo (ft. Park Bom). LOL, don’t judge me! We all have our nostalgias, our moments. Plus, it’s a good song for boosting your mood!

◎ Last movie I watched: Forrest Gump (last night actually!)

◎ Top 3 TV Shows: hmm. I don’t really watch any TV shows, only South Park and sometimes American Horror Story. I’m like, super basic haha!

◎ Top 3 Characters: Harry Haller (Hermann Hesse, “ Der Steppenwolf”), Ivan Ilyich (Leo Tolstoy, “The Death of Ivan Ilyich”) and Liana (Liviu Rebreanu, “Jar” - a Romanian novel)

◎ Top 3 Bands: hmm, to me this is a hard one, because I usually listen to music completely randomly, if I really want to hear a particular song or I want something to amplify or change my mood for the better. Or classical music while studying. But the bands I usually listen to are EXO, BTS and Girls Generation. 

◎ Books I’m reading: just finished Siddhartha yesterday!
