Isidore Latham from Chicago Med is Autistic!
[Yeah, if your teeth are strong enough, you can chew the bone up. Dr. Latham does not allow me to... Chew bones? Feeling better now that we're through. Feeling better 'cause I'm over you?]
Dr. Isidore "Did You Kill Him?" Latham is not appreciated enough.
Season 3 episode 1 of Chicago Med and I’ve come to these conclusions:
Latham is trying his best to control his bickering children residents
I don’t know who stuck his mug to the ceiling, put balloons in his office or ordered a fake penis exam but they should be knighted
I hate the new surgeon and so does everyone but Latham
Daniel is a teddy bear in human form and I love him
Sharon is everyone’s mother and I’d take a bullet for her
Sarah can do no wrong
Robin is a wonderful human being and I love her
I’m watching seasons 1 and 2 of Chicago Med because I never saw them and I just watched Chicago Med season 2 episode 12 “Graveyard Shift” IT IS SO SAD
Connor Rhodes + His mentors

Goodwin’s Pain and more
Suffering Goodwin is apparently a thing on Chicago Med. Her husband leaves her. Her old flame shows up to die. Her husband brings his younger girlfriend to flaunt. Goodwin cries. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have the husband decide to return but he might as well stay gone with the soon to be extremely dependent girlfriend.
Reese’s boyfriend needs to go as well. That’s another relationship with no point because he doesn’t get her is not justification for relationship drama when that was apparent before they even got together. Watching her yesterday reminded me how out of place I found her on Tuesday’s Fire episode. I know they want to show this oneChicago unity but they should save it for scenes that make sense. Reese is so insecure in that I didn’t believe that someone else wouldn’t have evaluated that crack addicted girl. An extra would have been more believable, imo.
My final observation is how much havoc these doctors seem to wreak on the lives of some of their patients. They all seem to take saving the patient to a whole other level despite the problems they continue to create. Rhodes is generally super surgeon without much debris but he did have parents wisely tell him to let their son go, when he thought he could be the one to do the improbable. Manning got a father arrested because she knew best about how to treat his son, and his son turned out to be the one who knew best. She and her fellows also wrecked a marriage by forcing a mother to choose between her son and nephew when they should have started the blood donations in the first place (instead of using it as a plot device to have Halstead admire her genius). The writers went into bonus territory in yesterday’s episode by making the father indirectly responsible for causing his son’s exposure to spores along with someone else and maybe even a host of others. I thought they were implying the husband was up to no good when the wife showed no signs but the sticker in the van. Way to go.
Lastly is perhaps the best scene of Ctrl Alt, Dr. Latham casually admitting that he paid the ransom. Runner-up scene was Maggie giving Halstead the forms to fill in when he decided to keep Bert’s deceptive girlfriend longer. While I get Maggie’s anger, I do think she should have reigned it and been professional since it was really Goodwin’s problem. Being a good friend doesn’t mean having to get that angry over a lack of respect shown to said friend.
