when I was younger I used to name like, all my stuff, but I feel like I ran out of names? now since they’re all different plants I just call them what kind of plant they are, the asparagus ferns or the snap dragons or so on. a few days late because we were busy getting ready for my partner to be out of town -n-

highlights from the past couple weeks include [pumpkin carving], a [christmas comic] in october because no one can stop me, and [space] doing super well for reasons unknown.

also please remember to vote if you’re at all able to! it’s not a magical cure-all, but it actually can make things concretely better. (for example in my city there’s a ballot measure to allow the city council to reduce the duties of the sheriff’s department.) aw that sucks :( baking can be kind of unforgiving of even small deviations, and it took me a while to fully internalize that the toothpick test actually does work lol (when you stick a toothpick into the center of your baking to test if it was baked all the way through) but everything can improve with practice!
