apologies if this has been answered previously but draco/ron/hermione triad? (hermione and draco are both competitive and ambitious...I feel like they would just be competing for the king's affections--in increasingly elaborate ways--and resolve the tension through hate fucking).

now, i have a very unpopular opinion about what gets hermione's rocks off - because, in contrast to what seems to be the fanon standard, i don't think she's into rivalry [or - even though draco would undoubtedly think she would be - being negged] at all. i think she likes fairy-princess role-play and being adored by the committed wife-guy which is ron weasley.

which means that the feasibility of dromione as a triad comes down to how much energy ron's got, because i don't think either draco or hermione are making the effort with each other.

but we know that he loves to devour a protein-filled breakfast [you guzzle those sausages, king!] which means we're all good. he can go all night.

Problematic ships and stuff

I'm not an anti because I don't get up in people's grills about stuff, I just don't care, BUT I do want to point out what is and isn't a bad ship in terms of power dinamics and stuff

Age gap:

Abusive ship: daddave when Dave is 13, because a 13 year old being in a romantic relationship with an adult is bad

Fine ship: daddave au where Dave is in collage. Because an 21 year old and a 41 year old is not necessarily any better or worse than a 37 year old and a 41 year old. It may lead to a power imbalance, but sugar daddies are daves parogative.

Incest: makes me uncomfortable.

Bad: Brodave

Borderline acceptable but still nasty: dirkdave, in a fooling around cud they're curious context

Rape fics:

Bad: romanticized rape

Fine: a fic about the journey of an abuse survivor to find good coping mechanisms, about character development rather than the relationship.

Bullying:

Bad ship: Dromione. He bacically called her the n word, and aside from the cursed child they never had any positive interactions,

Fine ship: Drarry, they pick on each other a lot but nobody ever crossed the line (accept when Harry used sectum sempra, but that was an accident) and maybe once they do a little growing up they could do the foes to friends to lovers thing and Harry could teach him not to be a dick

LGBT stuff

Erasure: shipping scorbus with girls or rosemary with boys

Not erasure: shipping Dave with terezi

Being a dick: me: Ginny is trans
