I'm watching NGE again with the original English dub and it really changes the vibe of some scenes a lot! I believe some of the translation choices are quite different. I couldn't pick out exact examples but there were a few parts where I was like, "Oh, I don't think that's the same."
Oh, wait! I did think of an example. In the original (ADV, right?) dub, Shinji actually says Misato stole the batteries. In the Netflix dub, he just infers it.
I think Misato is a bigger sex pest in this version lol. I like her VA, though. She gives Misato a very roguish, messy flair. I like both performances, though. I do find Ritsuko far more likable in the orginal dub. I think I prefer the Netflix dub for Shinji, though.

I just compared the English and German Dub of Wild Kratts and- Zach is so much more aggressive! Just check this out:
This is where he says "Birds are bad!" in the English dub but here he actually says "I hate this!" and it's just so unfitting for him!
And yes, he is like that all the time, you can bet how shocked I was when I found out he was supposed to be more... uh... childish in the Original! (Also literally imagining Zach spouting "I hate this!" is pretty terrifying)
This one is for @anitaofsamothrace, a short line from Arcee:D English version: “Haven’t you heard? Humans multiply.” German version: “Noch nicht mitbekommen? Menschen vermehren sich.” Literal translation is the same I like Arcee’s german voice actor tbh, she has a good strict yet caring mother voice :D And I think it fits Arcee in TFP ~
If you don’t mind, I would add to the “Zach rage dub comparison” with the Hungarian dub Xd It’s pretty high pitched tho Here, he says “Evil birds!” I just really like hearing and comparing different dubs, even if I don’t understand a word. And sorry for the low resolution, that was the best I could get.
