Easy Duchess Potatoes - Creamy Baked Potato Perfection
Duchess potatoes are a classic and classy side dish that makes any meal better. A beautiful presentation is made with mashed potatoes that have been shaped into pretty pipes and then baked until golden and crispy. Adding butter, egg yolks, and cream to these potatoes makes them rich and decadent. If you want, you can add Parmesan cheese to make them even tastier. Put these duchess potatoes on top of your favorite main dish for a meal that looks as good as it tastes.
Ingredients: 4 large potatoes, peeled and quartered. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 2 egg yolks. 1/4 cup heavy cream. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional. Paprika for garnish optional.
Instructions: Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain the potatoes and mash them while still hot. Mix in the butter, egg yolks, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. Transfer the mashed potatoes to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe the mashed potatoes onto a baking sheet in the shape of small rosettes or swirls. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and paprika if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 400F 200C for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on top.

KING ISLAND FARM TOURS, MEET YOUR BEEF: Double cooked King Island beef in Tasmanian stout with Duchess potatoes and gremolata. We had an excellent farm tour and learned so much about cattle and their life cycle. Our host Ana was such a delight. This is a must do for your list when going to King Island. The meal was sooooooo good. This dish was perfection and a credit to Ana. Massive amount of flavour and a generous serve. It was truly a delightful day. #kingisland #kingislandbeef #kingislandfarmtours @kingislandfarmtours #beef #duchesspotatoes #foodporn #food #foodphotography #foodphotographer #foodphotos #kingislandfood #tasmania #tasmanianfood #tasmanianfoodie #tasmanianfoodexperience #farm #farmhousekitchen #cooking #farmtour #hobartfoodgirl #delicious #deliciousfood #perfecthospitality #willcomeagain https://www.instagram.com/p/B2Y85xkhFlt/?igshid=1ho4yttzfdlpg
