I was watching the Leverage DVD extras that I got from the library and I found out that Parker's counterpart in the Two Live Crew Job is the show's crime/pickpocket consultant! And the character is actually named after him. His name is Apollo Robbins. I love this show SO much! I love that they actually had a thief consultant on the payroll. Iconic! Such a criminally underrated show

As far as I know. This and the other slayers interview are the only video interview extras featured on the Slayers ADV Films line up. To me, these kinds of interviews and dvd extras in general are a lost art nowadays. It’s cool learning how people do voice acting and how they work on the projects they do while showing off the process of it as well. I miss when people do this with different dvd and Blu-Ray releases, not just the anime ones. Nowadays, you’ll be lucky to even have a lil special feature at all. I miss when companies like ADV Films, Funimation, Warner Home Media, and more did this.

Digimon Savers (Tokuten Eizou)
So...this is a little DVD commentary thingy that exists. To be honest it was pretty lazy. Just a bunch of battles slapped together with the 3 main mons talking over it. Cute concept, but they didn't have much interesting to say other than "look how cool we are!" The one interesting thing I took out of it is that they alluded to the fact that Kurata might still be alive somewhere??? WHAT!? (I mean...they never said he was dead, but that's unsettling). I wonder if any of this was improv. I felt bad for Lalamon because seeing all her scenes side by side didn't really look good for her...
There was a tiny bit of new animation at the beginning and end but it was pretty minimal. Just picture the image above with lip flaps and eye movements.
