With the smoky sweetness of barbecue sauce, this slow cooker BBQ beef recipe makes meat that is tender and full of flavor. Great for busy days when you want a tasty meal that doesn't take much time.
Ingredients: 3 lbs beef chuck roast, trimmed of excess fat. 1 cup barbecue sauce. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker. In a mixing bowl, combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Pour the barbecue sauce mixture over the beef roast in the slow cooker, ensuring it's evenly coated. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the beef is tender and easily shreds with a fork. Once cooked, shred the beef using two forks and mix it with the sauce in the slow cooker. Serve the BBQ beef on buns or over rice, and enjoy!
