I been typin here in AAVE which cool and all, but I wonder if that gon translate well to when I go back to school or leave my house.

Cause the main reason I had started bein an AAVE typer was to see my dialect actually be written down for once, to play around and delve deeper into my dialect rather than just leavin it to the spoken world.

Cause in the spoken world, I gots to code switch to Standard American English to feel like im bein taken seriously white people. I wanna go the rest of my life speakin AAVE, or at least have the accent if they cain’t understand me well. Luckily, literacy tie into real world speech so maybe it not gon be as bad as I think, but I can only hope.

All I can say is I’m unbelievably glad the internet, cause without it I wouldn’t never known about my dialect grammar. I wish it was taught in schools for nuance to the English, but I know damn well it better than nothin.

Unfortunately, I seem to reference romance and romantic gestures when thinkin of QPRS only to realize later that I’m actually uncomfortable with doin so. But the more I try to reference friendships I feel this sense of inferiority, like people not gon take me or the relationship as seriously no more. As much as I know that QPRS right for me, I still been thinkin of QPRS through the lense of “they gon accept me finally?” rather than usin it as an outlet to appreciate intimate, platonic love and commitment. Ain’t this some bull shit :/

AAVE is actually such a beautiful dialect of English, no wonder they tried to diminish it beauty !! If this broken English then it’s the prettiest type of broken English out there, now what?

Technically, QPRs is platonic if you use the “non romantic” definition instead of the friendship definition. A relationship with someone I don’t like is platonic since it’s non romantic, but they definitely ain’t my friend that’s for damn sure!
