My OC, Sienna (I've submitted her before! ^^) Doesn't realize using her magic ISN'T supposed to make her nearly faint. She has nCAH, and, because the magic in the story pulls from your physical body leaves you kind of drained, ends up in a ~sodium conundrum~ because her body doesn't process sodium and adrenaline the same. After talking with other magic users, the learns that no, that isn't normal??? and starts to carry around salty food because it seems to help
(I'm not projecting, what makes you say that? /j👀)
Oohbgh. Really like this concept as a (not medically confirmed but Very Likely) (n)CAH haver
Severe brain fog doesn't mean cute, quirky "sometimes i forget my keys tehe uwu" It means on bad days I struggle even to operate a coffee machine.
Can't think straight, can't see straight, just looking at shit makes me dizzy, so forget reading or even the simplest of math.
My coffee maker is a one-button brewer.
I don't use it much because coffee agitates GERD and gastritis, so I stick to green tea and matcha instead!
The intersex tells me to drink nothing but Powerade and eat salt straight from the container
It's like the green goblin mask
CAH culture is?
CAH culture is oh my goddddd i am so tired of like. looking up "fruits with high sugar content" "foods with high sodium content" and everything being like "high sugar fruits TO AVOID!!!" and "high-sodium foods to NEVER EAT AGAIN!!!" meanwhile i'm looking up explicitly to know what i can eat to help myself out during an episode of low sugar or low sodium. is there not one website in the entire world capable of treating the nutrition facts of different foods as morally neutral, or at least that can avoid fear mongering about how eating one singular bowl of instant ramen will instantly give you high blood pressure?
CAH culture is hating diet culture 🙂↕️
Newly diagnosed CAH culture is… “ohhh, so that’s why I’m obsessed with electrolyte drinks…” quite frankly it don’t really even like the taste of them but I couldn’t stop drinking them bc my body needs it lol. Now I know why!
Newly diagnosed CAH culture is!
I recommend Propel 🙂↕️ they're mild in flavor (and the water is undyed!), but they're Super fucking tasty and refreshing despite that. My favorite kind, personally.
CAH culture is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm propel 10000000000 propel in me. and ramen. delishis
CAH culture is YES SOMEONE ELSE WHO UNDERSTANDS PROPEL IS UTTER PEAAKKKKJJ
Salted caramel should be the food representing CAH... salt and sugar because sodium and glucose imbalances? You guys must see the vision.
