Following @missmuffin221‘s recommandation, I read Guilty Secrets by Ellipsical. The way Jo talked about it I was expecting a good crack-porny fic… let me tell you how much I underestimated this absolutely gorgeous piece of writing.

Yes, it is funny and has some well-choosen elements of crack-fic, and yes it is very porny, BUT! It’s also a poetical, gorgeous writing, with such good character developments and deep thinking about Sherlock’s and John’s feelings and traits.

It made me very emotional, in ways I wasn’t excepting at all, stroke a chord inside me and pushed me to reflect on past personal actions and relationships.

So thank you very much @ellipsical-elle for this wonderful story, I’ll be waiting of Into Bed’s next chapter!

Rec: See all those kinky tags? Yeah, this is one of those fics that try to pass themselves off as a PWP but are actually lurking just under the surface of the water, ready to pull you in and drag you under and make you drown in all the goodness of the feels. Not that the giant purple dildo and the remote control butt plug don’t get their day in the sun (or more to the point, where the sun doesn’t shine), but the great payoff is in the emotional unfolding that occurs between John and Sherlock, the connection and acceptance of each other and most of all themselves. The prose is a great pleasure to read, with on-target banter and humor balanced by dreamy, luscious introspection bordering on poetry. Set sometime post-Reichenbach but ignoring series 3 and 4, this fic took me directly into John and Sherlock’s hearts, and in doing so found a place in mine.
