Guilty Secrets
Guilty Secrets
Description: John has a prostate exam and discovers something surprising about himself. Experimentation follows. Sherlock wants to help. They're in love. You know the drill.
Review: I've always been in favor of switchlock but sometimes it can feel forced, but this fic feels completely natural in their development. The beginning is kind of cracky and funny while still keeping with the tone of the rest of the fic. They get together towards the middle-beginning, so we get to see John and Sherlock enjoy the beginnings of their relationship. I also really appreciated the subplot of Sherlock's mother's recent death and the planning of their retirement together. It really added to the emotional intimacy that was already there.

Following @missmuffin221‘s recommandation, I read Guilty Secrets by Ellipsical. The way Jo talked about it I was expecting a good crack-porny fic… let me tell you how much I underestimated this absolutely gorgeous piece of writing.
Yes, it is funny and has some well-choosen elements of crack-fic, and yes it is very porny, BUT! It’s also a poetical, gorgeous writing, with such good character developments and deep thinking about Sherlock’s and John’s feelings and traits.
It made me very emotional, in ways I wasn’t excepting at all, stroke a chord inside me and pushed me to reflect on past personal actions and relationships.
So thank you very much @ellipsical-elle for this wonderful story, I’ll be waiting of Into Bed’s next chapter!
And of course thanks again Jo for the rec <3
I know I just recommended this fic but fuck it! Guilty Secrets by @ellipsicalelle is just worth another one. Haven’t you read it yet? Do it! 55,053 wonderful explicit words, not just discovering what you like but what you want. Forever. All the sex and all the feels!

(Ssshhh, I have a secret. I’m a little bit in love with Draco Malfoy. I always think it should be the obvious one (Harry), or the sweet ginger sidekick (Ron), or even the joking but loyal twins (either one, really). The unexpected strong one at the end (Neville for the win). But the one that gets to me most is Draco. It’s Tom Felton’s portrayal of him that does it for me, that hooks me in the gut and sinks me. Plus he was the better father in the 19 years later screenplay.)
Sometimes I turn off wifi and stream movies using our data plan when I’m really mad at my father. It pisses him off and he has no idea who’s using up all the data
President inaugurates 21st World Congress of mental health, calls for fighting stigma
The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, inaugurated the 21st World Congress of Mental Health being organised by the World Federation for Mental Health in partnership with Caring Foundation and other institutions in New Delhi today. Speaking on the occasion, the President said that the World Congress of Mental Health is taking place in India for the first time. And it has come here at an appropriate moment. Mental health issues are acquiring a serious magnitude in our country. Our National Mental Health Survey 2016 found that close to 14% of India’s population required active mental health interventions The President noted that those living in metropolitan cities and those who are young – whether in the productive age group or children and teenagers – are most vulnerable to mental illnesses. In India, we have a young population, with 65% of our people below the age of 35. And our society is rapidly urbanising. This leaves us staring at a possible mental health epidemic. The President said that the biggest obstacle that mental health patients have to encounter is stigma and denial. This leads to the issue being ignored or simply not discussed. We need to talk about mental health issues and treat ailments such as depression and stress as diseases that can be cured – not as guilty secrets that must be pushed under the carpet. A major gap in combating the mental health challenge is that of human resources. The President said that India’s National Mental Health Programme is building 22 centres of excellence in the field of mental health. In parallel, the District Mental Health Programme has already covered 517 of the approximately 650 districts in India. It is taking the conversation about mental health to the grassroots of our society. The President expressed happiness that the World Congress will have sessions on yoga, meditation and traditional approaches to mental health. He stated that the example of yoga is very instructive. When people talk about yoga, they generally refer to its physiological benefits. However, the mental, psychological, and cognitive benefits of yoga are equally worthy of our study. He looked forward to feedback on the deliberations of the special session planned on the role of yoga in battling anxiety and depression – and in preventing the onset of mental health problems.
