Kate doesn’t forget Kara after elseworlds. She knows something is off with her and her merry band of idiots, but she doesn’t know what exactly. Then she looks her up, and Kara is almost a ghost. only in a few of Allen and his friend’s instagrams

She figures she won’t be seeing them for a while, so she puts it out of her mind. 

Then of course the world is ending as she’s fighting an evil bunny and Kara is in front of her. With bangs, Kate thinks she looks good. 

It’s all overwhelming, fighting shadow demons everyone dying. She hopes she doesn’t seem as overwhelmed as she feels. It was nice, to have Kara in the vanishing point. They, and the other heroes, trade stories of their exploits in an effort to pass the time. (When Kate hears of what Lex has done to Kara it takes a lot in her to not beat him up)

Then everything’s righted, but apparently they’ve known each other for a year? They’ve been friends since Elseworlds, which isn’t wrong, but in this reality they’re a lot closer than before. Kate decides it’s not an issue so she leaves it be

They text a lot. Kara loves to fly over to Gotham on a whim. Kate always sighs and nags her about secret identity, Kara just laughs tho so Kate never ends up too mad.

We’re just friends guys... mhm sure. They try to say this all the time, but no one believes them, like no one. In truth, Kara is part distracted by the whole Luthor debacle and Kate is emotionally stunted soo they aren’t exactly just going to yell it from the roof tops... yet. hopefully.

Kate goes missing.
