These are both different versions of Mike that I am writing/have written.

The biggest difference between Em (She/He) and Elise (She/Her) is wether or not I followed the s5 canon when writing them.

Em is the result of a non canon compliant future au. The biggest changes in her universe being that El is alive, Em was taken instead of Holly, and Henry Creel has been dead since 1983. Em has dissociative amnesia due to his experience in Camazotz with Max, which is something he’s been torn up over and will be toe up over for A While. Em has a strained relationship with El and Max, which in turn makes her isolationist tendencies worse. Her relationship is strained with El because shorty after Em’s possession, they broke things off and never quite resolved why. Then, in the aftermath, El had to leave for Iceland to hideaway. The relationship with Max is strained because Max remembers everything Em can’t, which is the source of a lot of jealousy and tension between the two. The MadHopWheels trio is very connected in this au. Platonically and also Psychically! El saved both of their lives using happy memories (Max in the Creel House and Em at the quarry) resulting in them having a connection. Max’s is stronger due to the amnesia, which is another point of contention.

Elise is a canon complaint version of Mike. Her story starts between seasons 3 and 4, where she develops a bond with max. This bond is sparked by a similar disinterest in their other friends and a really awful nicotine addiction. They chain smoke together while they should be in class, and grow to be closer friends. It’s because of this that Elise comes out to Max, who is incredibly supportive and keeps her secret for the next few years. After canon events occur, the death of El only brings them closer together. They do have a small fight about Max leaving to tour America over the summer, but it is resolved with the help of Lucas, who Elise also ends up coming out to. The MadWheeler bond is central to Elise’s transition and ability to love herself. They both see El in each other, and find more comfort with that fact than they know. Elise eventually moves in with both Lucas and Max!

This is My College AU’s version of Mike Wheeler!

Some facts:

-Genderqueer, (She/He), goes by Em

-Incredibly aromantic slightly bisexual

-Eyebrow piercing is a heart!! Like this

-blue mascara addict

-Earring #1 is a sword and she has a sword tattoo on his shoulder

-El dyed her hair & She dyed El’s (pink ends!!)

-has dissociative amnesia caused by being trapped with Max in camazotz

-freakily mind linked with El & Max (long story) but has the weakest ability between the three

-Majoring in English Literature now, used to major in Business before the Accident (you can read about the aftermath here.)

-goes to college in West Virginia, hates it’s So Much but is close-ish to everyone and wanted it that way. (Lucas, El, & Max in Va, Dustin in Ohio, and Will in NY)

-Roommates with Lucas from sept-Dec of 91 while she took a gap year

-Eventually the whole party moves to NY in 95, and live in the same apartment. Em lives with Lucas, El with Max, and Dustin with Will.

-Is a librarian and published author by 1998 !!

Compromise

I ended up writing a little fic, kind of inspired by @dangerously-human sending an ask about looking at cute cat pictures to help cheer me up. This is just a fun little future AU drabble for my Mileven kids. Is Mr. Darcy a weird name for a cat? Yes. Is 10 too young to have read Pride and Prejudice? Maybe but...hey it’s just a fun little drabble. 

If you read it and like it let me know! I’d love for people to ask me stuff about my fankids or this AU ^^

When Benny brought home the kitten, Em didn’t think it would be staying that long. Her mom didn’t seem very big on cats, and Em wasn’t sure about them either. Granted, dogs seemed a little too energetic for her too. Which is probably why they hadn’t had any pets for the first ten years of her life.

The kitten itself was a skinny little thing. When Benny had brought it in, Em thought it was all black, that is until her parents tried cleaning it off, that’s when speckles of white poked through on its chest and one paw. It seemed too small to be on its own, which is probably why Benny had run into the kitchen clutching it to his chest.

A few days after the kitten had shown up, he was looking much better. Though he was still skinny, he had started walking around a bit, meowing quietly as he tried to follow Benny around the house. It was quite cute, though a little distracting at times, but then again, Em was used to reading with distractions going on, even if it wasn’t her preferred method.

Meow.

Em heard the sound, but didn’t pay it much attention as she kept reading.

Meow. Meow. MEOW.

Lowering the book, Em looked around for Benny, wondering why his cat seemed to be meowing at her. But her brother seemed to be out of the house. Glancing down at the kitten, she frowned. “Sorry buddy, he’s not here.”

Meow.

“He’ll be back soon I’m sure.”

Meow.

Em sighed. “Could you maybe stop, I’d like to keep reading…”

Meow.

“I guess that’s a no…what do you want to sit up here or something?”

Meow!

“Alright but only for a few minutes.” Reaching down, Em, scooped him up and placed him on her lap before picking up her book again.

She had only read a sentence when another bout of meows irrupted her until she started petting him. Soon the meows were replaced by very loud purring. Em couldn’t stop a smile from growing on her face, the purring was loud but it was also quite relaxing.

An hour or so later, the door slammed and Benny came running into the living room.

“Shhh!” Em hissed, pointing at the sleeping kitten on her chest – where he had migrated when she had readjusted her position on the couch. “Mr. Darcy is sleeping.”

“Mr…Mr. Darcy?!? That’s not his name.”

Em shrugged. “It’s my name for him and he seems to like it.”

Benny stared at her. “But he’s my cat!”

“Okay, so what do you want to call him? You call him that and I’ll call him Darcy.”

“That’s not how it works! A cat can’t have more than one name!”

“Why not? Besides, I doubt he’s staying much longer.” Em regretted the words as soon as she said it, seeing the crestfallen look on Benny’s face. She was also surprised to feel a little sad at the thought at well.

“Look…how about…I vouch for helping you take care of him, if his name can be Darcy?”

Benny looked at the sleeping cat then back at Em before nodding. “Okay, but you have to ask mom and dad if we can keep him.”

Em rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t help but smile a little. “Alright, deal.”

OC facts: Megan took violin lessons for a few years in grade school. She kind of wishes she'd kept it up, but there's homework to finish, baseball to play, and those cute new shorts aren't gonna buy themselves. | Cats adore Christopher, even if they don't usually like people. He feeds the strays in his hometown. | Insult Avery, accuse her of something, make a joke at her expense, and she'll laugh it off. Do any of the above to her little sister ... you'd better start running. Now. *Faster*.

Ah nice! I’ll see if I can think of anything that kind of correlates with my OCs...I might be making some of these up as I go xD

Fire girl plays violin, she wanted to play guitar but her parents thought violin was more useful (plus they found an old violin that was much cheaper than a new guitar), so at first she didn’t like it, but then it grew on her. After getting her powers, she kind of stopped playing but if she found a new violin she would probably pick it up and try to play again.

I actually wrote a fic about Em and Benny’s cat Mr. Darcy haha xD Em isn’t innately a cat person at first, but then she kind of falls for the little ball of fur and after that she kind of adores cats, though she’s pretty quiet on the matter. (cats also like her a lot, Mr. Darcy actively seeks her out, sometimes even over Benny even though he’s technically Benny’s cat xD)

Oh that would totally apply to Riz and Alek. Riz is used to not really being appreciated so he’s used to annoying quips and tends to ignore them, but if you bring Alek into it, he can get seriously MAD
