Who is Emiko Queen? - A Reading Guide
Emiko Queen (Red Arrow) is the daughter of Shado and Robert Queen, making her Oliver Queen’s half-sister. She was kidnapped and raised by Simon Lacroix (Komodo) as a member of the Outsider’s Arrow clan until she killed him, at which point she accompanied her brother Oliver back to Seattle to become his “apprentice.” Emiko is a skilled archer with a hardened exterior but is a softie deep down. She secretly watches Keeping Up With the Kardashians and is close friends with Crush (with whom she is caring for a flock of pigeons).

"Friends Murder Each Other All the Time. You know, it happens." - Shane Madej in Buzzfeed Unsolved True Crime: The Unusual Australian Shark Arm Murders ---- "It started as something of a joke. Well…as much as posting a video of Ollie ranting about the murder of Elizabeth Smart, better known as the Black Dahlia could be considered a joke. But the point was that it wasn’t supposed to be anything serious- just another one of Mia’s favorite pastimes of showing the internet what Ollie’s like behind the vigilante and three-piece suits. And then it kinda….grew a life of its own. Emiko posting a video of Roy and Ollie bickering while working on a case, Roy retaliating by making a tiktok sound out of Mia on patrol saying “stop serial murdering each other.” And soon enough, one of her friends at school texts her a link to a change.org petition with over fifty thousand signatures asking for the Queen family to start covering famous cold cases, and well…it can’t be said that Oliver Queen isn’t a man of the people."
