this has taken me three (3) years to complete due to school and just life, but I have FINALLY finished making a spreadsheet of all pre-boot appearances (with n52 and rebirth upcoming on the same spreadsheet).

As i said, this took me 3 years, and with all those starts and stops something might have gotten missed (or added which shouldn't be there), so if you use it an notice a mistake, let me know! but i'm happy to post it :D i originally wanted to finish the n52 appearances before i posted it, but i want to work on some other characters and i can always finish it later. i would rather post it now then to never get it up.

Hii🙈🙈 do you perhaps have any bart and wally comic recs? I want to read more of them both but I can't find any reading orders or a jumping off point besides barts debut. Thank yew in advance💝

Here is a reading guide, I am doing this mostly by memory and looking at my own reading list/notes on their relationship, so I know I am not hitting every single comic they appear in together, but it's still pretty comprehensive imo. They start off VERY rocky, but once Bart becomes Kid Flash things between them are written less grating as they come to an understanding of each other and respect each other more.

Note: this is all pre-Flashpoint and these issues focus on their interactions/feelings between each other, a lot of it pretty caustic. Some issues might have only one panel, others many pages.

ok so im a new wonderman fan. coming from the mcu show. and i saw and am currently starting your simon reading order but im curious do you have/know any WonderBeast reading orders.? ive seen that theyre like an inseparable duo and that one panel where they kissed. so im getting curious about them. okay thank you! <3

Quite a few of Simon and Hank's most significant moments are already in my reading guide, a) because I like them and it's my guide and I will fully admit to having a bias, but also b) because other than The Vision and by extension of Vision, Wanda, Hank is really Simon's most significant relationship in comics. So there's gonna be a lot of duplicates, but there will be a few extra, also, and you'll know which ones to look forward to if you're following my guide (which I hope has been useful so far!)

Avengers V1 Annual 6 – Simon has already returned from the dead in #151–#153, and Hank is the first person to be worried about Simon's wellbeing. In an unseen conversation, Hank convinces Simon to help the Avengers.

Avengers V1 #160–#161 – Issue #160 is the first meeting between Eric and Simon, and Hank tries to reach out to Simon at the end. #161 is only significant because Hank makes Simon a new, very ugly costume. Ant-Man gets put in an electric chair because he's having a psychotic episode in this issue–don't worry about it.

Avengers V1 #181 – First time Simon and Hank are shown spending time with each other outside of Avenging. They watch a movie together, and Simon decides he wants to be an actor after being outsted from the Avengers.

Marvel Two-In-One #51 – Simon, Hank, Carol Danvers, and Nick Fury Sr all play a game of poker with The Thing. Not necessarily significant but shows Simon and Hank are an established duo by this stage.

Avengers V1 #187–#188 – Simon makes his return, and doesn't necessarily do much, but again, you can see how Simon and Hank are being presented as a package deal at this point in their history.

Avengers V1 #194 – I actually forgot to include this one on my reading guide, but in this one we see Simon's first role; Hank makes fun of him for it.

Avengers V1 #197–#198 – Ignore the Carol Danvers story going on it isn't important. Hank and Simon go on a double date that ends poorly.

Avengers V1 #201 – Hank comes with Simon on set.

Avengers V1 #203 – They fight some spooky monsters by themselves.

Avengers V1 #207 – Hank yet again shadows Simon on a film set.

Avengers V1 #211 – Simon and Hank leave the Avengers at the same time.

Defenders V1 #104 – Hank and Simon are called upon to help Doctor Strange and friends; Hank would later join the Defenders.

Hank and Simon go on their separate paths more or less after this; Hank joins the Defenders, then X-Factor, and eventually rejoins the X-Men, while Simon ends up with the West Coast Avengers. However, they do get the odd reunion

Wonder Man V2 #5–#6 – Hank comes to hang out in L.A. with Simon and gets a concussion. Hank also returns from #23–#25 and in the second annual.

Tales of the Marvels: Wonder Years #2 – Set after Simon explodes in the first two issues of Force Works; Hank is among the many mourning. Mostly important as a preamble to;

Avengers V3 #14 – Hank welcomes Simon back from the dead.

Avengers Two: Wonder Man and the Beast – 3 issue mini that serves as a soft conclusion to the unfinished plot threads of Wonder Man V2; Hank is called in by Wanda to cheer Simon up.

Exiles V2 #1–#6 – Not Earth-616 canon, Simon is dead for the entire length and it was cancelled early, but this version of Simon and Hank are in a canonical romantic relationship.

Avengers V4 Annual 1 – This is part of the Revengers arc, which runs in issues Avengers V4 #1-#2, #7, New Avengers V2 Annual 1, Avengers V4 Annual 1. This is the issue where Hank tries to figure out what's up with Simon.

A+X #12 – Simon and Hank go on a night out for the first time in years.

Uncanny Avengers Vol 3 #28 – Hank and Simon reminisce about the past.

X-Force V6 #49–#50 – Long story but since 2019, comic writer Benjamin Percy decided Hank McCoy was a villian, actually, and this arc is the wrapping up of that plot. The characters of X-Force make a Beast clone to deal with him, or whatever, but Simon ends up in the mix.

Astonishing Avengers Infinity Comic #13–#16 – Simon uses a magic word Hank taught him.

And that's just about everything I can name. I might have accidentally left some stuff out but that's more or less everything, hope you enjoy reading!
