Sherlock & Molly - complicated little emotions

Thick description

Reasons why I can’t hate Eurus Holmes:
All the little moments/dialogues where Eurus showed a little bit of humanity (my favorite is the last gif with that tiny grateful smile).
PS: I am aware she’s a bad person (I mean, she kills people for fun), but here she shows that she’s also human.
“I have this terrible feeling from time to time that we might all just be human... Even you”
Sherlock,the heartless sociopath:
[Season1] Faked tears for a case
[Season 2] Cried real tears when faking his own death
[Season 3] Was on the verge of tears when saying goodbye to John
[Season 4] Again cried real tears and was heartbroken on discovering the truth of redbeard
His reasons to cry, as the show progressed, reveals a lot about his character development. I could be wrong but I think Moffat and Gatiss did this on purpose.
Sherlock Holmes threw a man out of a window multiple times when he hurt Mrs Hudson.
Sherlock Holmes isolated himself from the rest of the world and exposed himself to physical torture for two years to protect his friends.
Sherlock Holmes shot and killed a man when he flicked John Watson and threatened the privacy of Mary Watson.
Sherlock Holmes overdosed and nearly killed himself when he hurt John Watson, and only didn’t let himself die because he knew John needed him.
Sherlock Holmes ripped apart a coffin while screaming in anguish when he was forced to hurt Molly Hooper.
Sherlock Holmes was about to shoot himself when told to kill his brother or his best friend.
Sherlock Holmes is not a near-psychopath because he feels no emotion, but rather because he feels so much emotion for particular people that he values their safety over moral principles. Which is most certainly a character flaw. But is the precise opposite of the flaw people think he possesses, which is why he is so widely misunderstood.
I just realized something painful about Sherlock and John’s post-fall dynamics:
Sherlock came back from torture, confinement, and who knows what else. He hasn’t talked about it, but HLV Mycroft does. He insinuates that Sherlock’s losing his handle because of solitary confinement’s effect on his restless mind.
This in turn means Sherlock could have PTSD, infact he almost certainly does. Well able to align with multiple diverse theories regarding the nature of the end of S3 and the whole of S4, this Sherlock is blatantly lost on control.
He attempts to regain control by relinquishing it in S4, but remaining on topic, Sherlock has been set to retain the psychological impacts of repetitive traumas and unpredictable situations in the opposite manner of John.
While John was a medical soldier and seemed to thrive in chaotic atmospheres, living what he found purposeful placement as the role of a defending soldier, for it to be ripped away during the awful incident of war.. Sherlock has had misfortune inflicted solely on himself in the attempt to right a wrong, as a means to dispose of what he knew of Moriarty’s network. Sherlock’s forced draft into the traumatic scenario required loneliness, no one but himself to deal with the brunt force of his excursions. Both men have differing coping mechanisms and reactions to these things.
John missed the war and gratefully found the battlefield when he found Sherlock (whether we know that as a healthy scenario or not is interpretable). Sherlock having escaped his own war is now lost in his mind, trying to find a heartfelt answer to a question he’ll never find in the internal world of fixation.
The question seemed to conjure in the face of his own personal displacement, when John married Mary.
Did you miss me?
Emotional Context ch 1
You know that thing I posted about an hour ago? I started writing it (:
What if Eurus installed the cameras back in 2011 after her meeting with Jim? If Jim had mentioned Molly had a soft spot for Sherlock. How much would Eurus had seen leading up to the Sherrinford incident? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eurus Holmes stared at the screens. A petite woman in a bright jumper was walking around her apartment, oblivious to the several dozen cameras that were now hidden in her flat. In her dealings with Jim, he had mentioned that this particular woman had a soft spot for her brother. Desperate for any link she could find to him without being too obvious, she had these cameras installed a month ago. If she had any doubt about how boring the average person was, this woman was a shining example of average.
It pets its cat again/ talks to cat/is this normal/ will investigate further.
Jim/boring jim/how did he put up with this/curious/ordinary.
So much footage of empty walls/substandard telly
It seems agitated today/sad/it always pretends not to be
Molly Hooper steeled herself. She had just received a code. It was go time. Time for the world to believe Sherlock Holmes was dead.
It cries/it cries a lot/how much is too much
Brother dear/how you’ve grown/our hair is the same
He sleeps in its room/it sleeps on the couch/it looks at him a lot
He’s gone/it cries all the time/it doesn’t go to work
This is your heart, and you should never let it rule your head...I've always assumed that love is a dangerous disadvantage. Thank you, for the final proof.

You didn't win, you lost. Look what you did to her, look what you did to yourself, all those complicated little emotions, I lost count. Emotional context, Sherlock. It destroys you every time.
