Me and Jess from echantedreading wanted to do a list of paranormal YA books that includes underrated, underused mythological creatures, such as banshees, mermaids, necromancers, kitsunes, etc (Meaning books NOT about vampires, werewolves, fairies or angels).

Easily Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
2. Favorite book you read in 2013?
I want to say The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
3. Favorite new series you discovered in 2013?
This one’s tough, it would either be The Selection Series by Kiera Cass or The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. I think i’m going with The Grisha Trilogy though, since I adore fantasy novels
4. Favorite debut author of 2013?
I don’t know if I’ve read any books by debut authors this year…
5. Prettiest book cover of 2013?
Seraphina by Rachel Hartman, the library I borrowed it from had a beautiful cover!
6. Most disappointing new release of 2013?
I surprisingly wasn’t disappointed with any new release this year…
7. Biggest reading regret of 2013?
The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson. I did not enjoy this book
8. Best book to movie adoption of 2013?
Obviously Catching Fire! I went in with low expectations after the first movie, and I was blown away by how good it was.
9. Favorite character ship of 2013?
Celaena/Chaol from Crown of Midnight, definitely.
10. Did you have any reading goals set for 2013? Did you accomplish them?
My goal was to read 35 books and I read 42, I was so happy!
11. Most anticipated book of 2014?
I can’t pick one, so I going to list my top 2! Which would be City of Heavenly Fire and The Blood of Olympus
12. Most anticipated book to movie adoption of 2014?
The Fault in Our Stars of course! I’m probably going to cry through the entire movie, but it’ll be worth it :)
13. What are your reading goals for 2014?
50 books this year. I don’t know if i’ll make it though with senior year, all of the college apps and all of the AP classes i’m suffering through…

THE QUESTIONS:
1. At what age did you fall in love with reading?
Like really, really fell in love? That would be 10. I was told that I couldn't read a book because I wasn't mature enough. HA. I went and bought the dirtiest one I could find and flaunted it.
2. What book made you fall in love with reading and why?
Tamora Pierce's Tortall books. I just took them all in and have loved her ever since.
3. What is the title of the book you have read the most?
Polgara The Sorceress by David Eddings, and The Redemption of Althalus by David Eddings a close second.
4. Do you own an ereader? Why or why not?
I do. I got it because I travel a lot and it's SO much easier to carry my Nook around than it is to pack in the 20 physical books I'm reading. I'd rather pack one 8 ounce thing in my purse and have 100's of books. Physical books are heavy you know, and there is a weight limit!
5. If you could only ever read one book again, what book would it be?
The Harry Potter Box Set.
6. What book are you most looking forward to in 2014?
Cress by Marissa Meyer
7. What was your favorite book of 2013?
I have no idea. I read The Fault In Our Stars for the first time this year and I adored that, but I can't pick a favorite books.
8. Do you listen to music while you read or do you prefer it to be quiet?
Both. Sometimes its nice to have music on in the background, I do that for work, but sometimes I also forget to put it on and just read. Which is also nice.
9. Is there an author that you love so much that you will read anything that they write, no matter what the genre is?
I mean, I buy every new Tortall book Tamora Pierce puts out, and I'll always go in for a series that I love. But not really. I like discovering books and new books.
10. When deciding on whether or not to read a book do you do research and read reviews on it first or do you just read the synopsis?
No. Generally it has a lot to do with the synopsis and the first few pages. I don't really read book reviews on a regular basis and when I do it's because I'm wandering.

Alright, I'm going to come back.
I continue to get messages both on the page and my new page asking for me to make EnchantedReading active again, so I will.
I gained 1200 followers on my old blog in less than a year. Let's see how long it takes me to gain that many on here.
