i am getting so stressed out with all these happenings in my home country today. worst thing is—we aren’t even fighting another country, but just our own. everything is becoming a mess in the philippines especially since the flood control projects that added more fuel to the fire, these corrupt politicians have no shame at all. they’ve already gone far by not taking responsibility of their corrupt acts but shooting innocent people during the rally (children or not) to barging in university dorms and killing multiple students? this is pure stupidity. they’re also arresting many innocent filipinos who did nothing but speak their truth against this messed up government system. we will not be silenced. no one deserves to lay in their own blood just because they wanted the best for their country. dapat may managot, kung hindi ka galit dahil rito—bakit? this is our country we are talking about, being corrupted by these government people. if you aren’t phased by any of this, isa ka sa problema. mga kababayan ko, parang awa niyo nalang, vote wisely in the next election. para sa minamahal nating pilipinas ito. walang masama kung galit ka sa mali, mas masama kung hindi ka galit sa mali.

Ballroom donors won $50B in contracts after giving to Trump project, watchdog group finds

This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.

More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.

And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.

Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, and securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.

The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.

Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.

We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

Dashing gowns sweep the floors in each corner. Red lips and glowing eyes, whispering in each corridor. Suit and tie, a platinum clock on their wrists—showing off all they own.

Gut-wrenching laughter, clanging copper spoons, wine lingering over that purgatory.

I hope it feels good. Soaring above this atmosphere. While we're left hanging on those luxurious words you serve—so complacent, so amused.

After taking everything home, did you look back? Did you turn your TV on this morning, and watch our bleeding eyes? Did you see the walls crumble into a trillion pieces?

Screeching like nails on your chalkboard where your charts take off. It looks like nothing bothers you anymore, why is that?

"We do not allow this to happen." Their frowning mouths and assuring words leave us in tears—disgust and rage.

Because you have a castle at your back, always facing us. Your smirking eyes behind your saddest face is your middle finger pointing at us, and all this time you've thrown hoaxes at us.

Those shiny coins are not yours to keep. Return what was stolen and fall into the dungeon—you belong there.

🚨Anti-goverment sentiment in Serbia has escalated since the tragic event on November 1st, 2024 when the concrete canopy at the recently renovated railway station collapsed, killing 15 and severely injuring 2 people. Ever since, citizens and opposition parties have been protesting, demanding accountability for the victims of a deeply corrupted system, which uses public projects to pump money out of the state and into private investors' pockets. The regime responded with slur campaigns and hired thugs to attack protesters. One such attack occured on December 2nd, when the students of the Dramatic Arts School in Belgrade were set upon by regime thugs while holding a 15 minute silence for the victims. Since then, students of Serbian universities have been blockading their institutions.🚨
