Got strep throat for the first time.
Went to urgent care and got some meds, only to proceed to have an allergic reaction to said medication. Went back to urgent care for a second time due to the allergic reaction and was told I needed different meds, a shot in the butt, an inhaler, and an EpiPen. Got home and later started to have a chronic pain flair up. Chose to jerk off and see if it helps relieve some pain….only to have the vibe die not even 5 minutes into me using it.
I’ve had a lovely 24 hours
EpiPen's owner Mylan is drawing fire from consumers and politicians over the ever-rising price of the device.
"EpiPens, which counteract potentially fatal anaphylaxis, contain the drug epinephrine.
And just $1 or so worth of epinephrine is used in the auto-injection device. That device itself is believed to cost just several more dollars to make."
Similarly, covid vaccines cost between about $16.00 to $24.00 to make. Just fyi.

Quebec schools could soon be instructed to keep epinephrine injectors, or EpiPens, on hand for emergency use. The recommendation is part of school-based care guidelines currently being developed by Quebec's education and health ministries, The Canadian Press has learned. Part of the guide will deal with distributing and administering medications, such as Epipens, in emergencies. Some schools already keep Epipens on site, but it's the legal responsibility of students with allergies to bring their own to school.

I’ve been diagnosed with Rocky Mountain spotted fever and Alpha-gal syndrome. I’m picking up antibiotics for the RMSF that should help with the bite on my leg. I am also getting epipens in case I have a reaction. I’m getting a medication for my heart that lowers my heartbeat and helps with anxiety! My nurse said that the Rocky Mountain spotted fever can also cause joint aches. Been there before! So I have to cut red meat from my diet which I’m sad about. Some people are so sensitive that they have reactions to anything that even touches red meat so I have to bring the epipen to meals with me. Molly (my nurse) tested me for lyme’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis as well as a few other immune disorders and I was negative.
Edit: found out through an allergist that I don’t actually have AGS, thank goodness.
