Random idea for a fic that will probably never get written. But Prowl joining the Decpticons because his Baby(Springer) was ripped out of his arms and giving up for adoption against Prowls wishes. Because he the autobots need him more for the war effort.(Also there might be some passive functionalism biases stuff going on by some of high command. Maybe with Tryst believing that as a cold construct Prowl was incapable of caring for a Sparkling and others like Ratchet and Optimus who believe it’s better for Prowls mental health that he doesn’t care for the child of his attacker. Maybe Prowls partnership with Tarantulas goes south and Springer is the accidental or forceful byproduct.

Don’t get me wrong their are those in high command who greatly depose the idea of taking some ones kid away from them. But everyone is to busy seeing prowl as nothing but a victim to make a proper decision. So they take his choice away.

Meanwhile Prowl wakes up realizing his child is gone and you know the bond between Sparkling and Carrier is very delicate and sometimes separating Sparkling from their Carrier can have severe consequences.

So Prowl who was all in for the cause questions everything and when one day other autobots accidentally have kids and high command gives them the options that allow them to stay or leave were their Sparklings Prowl Snaps and defects to the Decpticons.

Well at first he goes looking for his Sparklings but is captured by them and he’s like I will tell you anything you want just please help me find my baby. Cause Prowl has served under 3 primes prior to Optimus and he thought Optimus was different but having his kid taken away breaks him and he’s blinded by rage over once again being mistreated by a prime.

Just a random thought idk if I’ll do anything with it but if anyone see this and want to give this a crack at it go for it. Tag me in your are or writing.
