I just finished the scarf series you did and I really just want to express my love for it.

So firstly, you need to know I am severely autistic and metal and dnd are two of my special interests and have been since I was a kid. My mom raised me on metal and I became obsessed with dnd in fifth grade. ANYWAYS (went off topic there) I’ve recently gotten into crotchet, it helps with my anxiety and your series felt like I was actually reading part of myself. I loved it so much (yes I did have an autism freak out (positive) when you mentioned Motörhead right after the battle vest explanation) (I listened to them when I was sowing on my Obituary patch onto my battle jacket)

It’s very rare that I find authors who are knowledgeable like you are in metalhead culture and dnd shit. I am so very impressed with you and your writing is amazing.

I admit, I've played D&D on and off since I was 12 or so, but there's still a lot I don't know. I enjoy metal casually, but I've never quite gotten super into any kind of music scene. If I came across as knowledgeable about either of those things, I have people like you to thank for it!

I love when people gush about their interests, about the intricacies and all the little things that make it unique and special to them, because it helps me learn. It hardly makes me any kind of expert, but it can even just give me a good jumping off point to start researching. Hearing it from the people who love it is always so much more interesting, though
