Written 8/1/18 . Open. This year has been the biggest evolution of my life. Not moving out on my own, not surviving a relationship that could have killed me, not the years of uncertainty, none compared to this last year. . At first, whilst losing my shit... remember I built this strict structure to protect myself... I tried to harness every detail, to keep "control" gave me a sense of safety, but it wasn't real. . Life knew I had work to do and then forced me to. It brought with it one of the most life altering, gut wrenching, overwhelming, derailing, emotionally expensive and horrible experiences of my life. It also gave me the best possible recovery. . Ironically in the vulnerability that was demanded by this life, just to survive it, I have more confidence and security because I was and am open and honest enough to admit all of my truths. . Staying open to life, goals, new ideas, love, extreme change, things that scare me... proves I am alive and capable and ready to take. it. on! . Cheers y'all!
