Made a design of Oliver Ludwig with Theodore Grambell. I imagine Oliver Ludwig to be generally anti-social and looked intimidating(unintentionally), but he is a pretty clever kid who enjoyed deconstructing and reconstructing mechanical devices and toys. It’s a hobby of his.

However, Oliver fears despises being weaker or lesser than others, so he ends up trying to be a perfectionist in anything he can. And usually when that feeling continues, Ollie escalates to have violent outbursts, even pushing or hitting his sister Poppy once or twice when he couldn’t control his emotions.

He enjoys Theodore’s presence though since Theodore wasn’t afraid of him and was willing to be friends with (the Prototype) Ollie. Theo never made Oliver feel weak, but rather, made him feel extremely strong(almost like a god).

Okay so I have my issues with Chapter Five - lots of them - but one thing I am emotional about now is CatNap's shrine.

It looks nothing like the fucking Prototype.

It doesn't have six legs, but Prototype does.

It doesn't have a primarily metal body, but Prototype does.

It has one weird arm sticking out at a strange angle, while Prototype has two arms in the usual places.

The employee skeleton sticking out of the shrine is tiny compared to the rest of CatNap's model, whereas Prototype's "human" torso is is fairly proportionate to the rest of him.

The only "additions" to Prototype's canon design are the arms of Mommy, Huggy and Kissy - none of which would have been part of him when CatNap built that thing. So all the random toys stacked on and around the shrine have no equivalent on Prototype's actual body.

And yet. Prototype-as-Ollie speaks oddly well of the shrine. He cheerfully asks whether the player saw it, and tells us that CatNap made it for the Prototype. He emphasises its scariness - although he insists that the real Prototype is scarier - and gives the impression that it's a fairly good likeness. He never disparages the shrine or implies that it's not very good, even though he's absolutely seen his own reflection, and the damn thing looks nothing like him.

But. CatNap worked hard on that. He had to ferry so many bodies to that spot. Arrange them just so. Put together the metal stand it's all built on. He specifically finds a little hat for the skeleton - not the right kind of little hat, but a little hat nonetheless. And from what we see of CatNap, art is an interest he's had all his life - he was drawing pictures of himself with Prototype, possibly as gifts for Prototype, even before his procedure. A statue is a new medium for him, and it's creatively - if not well - made.

And. The implication there is pride. Prototype is bigging up CatNap's work because it's CatNap's. He knows it's shit, but it was made for him, so he's putting it on the metaphorical fridge with a big colourful magnet.

REMINDER this is completely PLATONIC and not sexual and/or romantic in any way.

Kitten, little star, little moon(cake), nightlight

He carries you around in his mouth. You’re his kitten and he’s mama cat so it’s natural. He first tried to do it by your scruff but if you complain it hurts he uses the back of your clothing instead. Before he carries you in his mouth he stares at you for a minute then slowlyyy leannn downnn and up you go. He carries you anywhere he likes and as long as he likes. He usually does this to get you to bed. Kitten has escaped nest? Nope up you go and back you go! 

Being his kitten also means a lot of rides on his back. They’re long, slow rides as he walks around playcare. Whenever you’re up there everytime you pass a doorway he leans down and looks back to make sure you haven’t or are going to fall off. His back his quite warm if you lay on it. It’s like a heated blanket, purrfect for naps! 

He talks to you a lot about the prototype. Introduced you to the statue he made of him and talked for hours about him. He wants you to see prototype in a good light. If he can he’ll try to introduce you to him. 

If you feel upset or insomniac he uses his red smoke on you. Though he tries to make it a last resort. He hates seeing you upset and if nothing else is helping he will use it. But there’s no nightmares just red or a good dream with his cartoon version of himself. He would never give you nightmares on purpose, key word on purpose. Sometimes he messes up and gives you one unknowingly but when he notices he immediately sends in his cartoon version to be the hero of the story! 

There is a bedtime and you do not mess with it. Crying, hiding, or puppy eyes won’t work on him. He will wipe your tears, find you, and pick you up. He makes sure his little mooncake gets lots of sleep. He has you back to the scruff adjusting you in his nest til you’re both comfy then its nap time. Don’t even try to stay up or sneak away, he’s a very light sleeper and a good observer. But if you do catch him in a deep sleep you can hear this almost deep purring from him. 

He lets you play and pet with any part of him and he would be very unbothered. He sits completely still while you poke and pet different parts of him. If he is to be honest he’s more bothered when you suddenly stop petting him than actually poking him. Stopping immediately after “attacking” he stares at you then slowly with his paw he’ll bring you closer to himself. Inspecting you to make sure he didn’t upset you in anyway. No tears check, no frowns check, no sniffling check. Then nudging you a bit with his ears til you continue. Yes he is taxing you with pet. No you cannot stop
