This extremist asshole has a nightly talk show 11pm on Fox that is the #1 late night talk show with 1.2 million viewers. More than Kimmel, Colbert, Fallon, or any of the others. He is also one of the commentators on the 5pm Fox talk show called the Five which has 5 million viewers.
For many years now he’s been ranked one of the top 20 media influencers in the country. This MAGA Nazi messaging isn’t fringe, it’s mainstream among Republicans.
We can never take back our democracy when Republican billionaire oligarchs have their own personal tv networks and control a vast portion of all media. They have their hooks into all tv news and television networks. They also control most newspapers and magazines, all of talk radio, a majority of social media, and a large number of publishing houses.
The vast right wing propaganda network in conjunction with an army of well funded Republican political action committees (PACs) has been reshaping our nation since the 1960’s. We’re at the point now where the fate of our nation and the entire free world hinges on our 2026 midterm elections. Even if we win that we’ll only be buying ourselves two more years at best.
I’m not sure we can win this war at the ballot box. Trump has no limits to his cheating and the oligarch billionaires aren’t just going to give up even if we outlaw their activities. They are likely going to require being physically removed from the equation.
