I love how I keep cyceling through "I'm definitely genderfluid & genderflux cause it (the Gender™️) moves" and then it stops and I'm like "am I actually? It stopped, and it doesn't shift that much anyway so maybe not..."

And from everything I've seen this is a common experiences for genderfluid people so I'ma stamp that under "signs you are genderfluid" for me

There is just something that I can’t describe about being called your preferred name.

I told one of my friends a long time ago I wanted to go by V. He refused to do it because he knows me by my assigned name and if I’m still ok with being called that it’s easier for him. He’s autistic and so am I so I understand that, but it still hurt a bit he wasn’t even willing to try. Even if he just tried and couldn’t do it just trying would have been enough for me.

But my other autistic trans friend I just vauegly mentioned it to one time. And they remembered. We were playing Minecraft and at one point i hear “hey V” and it took me a second to register “oh hey that’s my name” but it wasn’t the wierd feeling of finally being called that- but the wierd feeling of “oh wow they care enough to try despite the fact it’s likely a hard switch to make” And I dunno that stuck with me.

I’m thinking about going by my in-system name with my friends now instead of the body name.
