“IwannameetHarryStyles,” Daisy mumbles, and Louis blinks.

“What?”

“She says she wants to meet Harry Styles.” Phoebe pipes up, and Louis blinks again, absently switches the camera to himself because he knows that his followers will want to catch his baffled expression.

“You-” he starts, and then stops himself, because he did tell her she could ask for anything she wanted, and how can he go back on his word and tell her that he doesn’t actually have the power to make that happen?

Because Harry Styles is – he’s next level kind of famous. Louis has two million subscribers on his YouTube, but Harry has eighteen times as many followers on his Twitter alone. He’s had three number one hits in the last year, and his last album had charted at the top spot for a record breaking 27 weeks. He’s a singer, actor and philanthropist, and there is no way in hell that Louis can get him to come meet Daisy for Christmas.

So of course he laughs, even if it’s a little bit breathless, and nods at her. “One Harry Styles for Christmas, coming right up.”

hi hello if anyone is taking any larry fic prompts lmk !!! i have a few that i know i wouldnt do justice writing but that id love to see be written 🤗

here are some of the fic concepts, dm me if interested & i can give more details ab what i envision for it. disclaimer: i am a harry is louis’ baby stan, so i do envision elements of that for each of the concepts! i also personally imagine these to be 2013 or 2014 larry, but i’m open to some other eras as well.

1) a little black dress / does he know? au

2) well known/famous football player louis in charge of his team’s summer football camp. football camp is selective in choosing who it admits. harry sucks at football but applies bc louis. harry gets in (shocker, i know). i wouldnt want louis to be closeted in this.

3) harry and louis are in the same class. idc what class it is. football player louis. harry has a crush on louis. (also maybe photographer harry that works louis’ games? just thought ab that possibility now) they get paired together for a presentation/project. university au.

4) a something great au

5) louis’ family & harry’s family have always been close. this could be a louis is gemma’s bff / lottie is harry’s bff type fic, but it doesn’t have to be. basically harry has always admired & had a crush on louis, louis moves away for college. the families only get a chance to all be together again 2-3 years after louis leaves. so like a reunion of sorts ft childhood crush & getting together w that childhood crush.

6) famous louis (singer, actor, model, idc im not picky). fanboy harry, famous or non famous im down for either. not sure how they meet. maybe over instagram but maybe that’s more of a wattpad cliche. would be open to it being how they meet tho if done right. otherwise, not sure how they meet. would prefer neither of them to be closeted in this too. (just my opinion: closeted fics typically have too much angst & theres already enough closeting angst irl for larry, so id want these to be happier fics w no closeting.)

Hi love. I think, in order to round this out, I’m going to give you both of them as songwriters, but I’ll mark which is which. Also, you should look through this famous/non-famous fic rec list as it does have some musician Louis (and/or Harry), but they’re not necessarily tagged as songwriters. 

Golden by Shaylea (E, 128K) I loved this author‘s last fic, and somehow, they managed to write another captivating story that’s so immersed in the country it takes place in. I was sucked in right from the start and really like how they write complex, flawed characters that you still root and cheer for. It’s a bit neat in its conclusion, but I think it’s very much worth a read.

My English Love Affair by isthatyoularry (E, 19K) Oh, this one has some really good angst and some really good smut and lovely writing and I’ve read it a few times and you should read it at LEAST once! Songwriter Harry.

You Drive Me Round The Bend by TheCellarDoor (M, 77K) I re-read this recently and still love rich, spoiled brat Louis and struggling musician Harry and instant chemistry followed by instant dislike and misunderstandings. Followed, of course, by ultimately falling in love. Singer-songwriter Harry / ultimately songwriter Louis as well. 

Stranger Stars by shaylea / @sunshineandhisrainbows (E, 212K) This is a really unique fic that takes place on a 6-week safari through Africa. It’s incredibly detailed and the author does a lovely job with the character arcs and with setting the scene. Harry/Niall/Liam are songwriters. Zayn/Louis are the tour leaders.

Naked & Proud by kiwikero (E, 19K) Farmer Harry runs an organic store. Lust at first sight. Summer love. All sorts of good stuff in this really well-written story. Songwriter Louis.

i was at an all night diner by @yoursongonmyheart (6K, NR). This is more of a prose poem, and i really enjoyed the way the author built such an intimate portrait of the 5 boys in so few words. It’s beautiful and dreamy and I think about it still. Famous Harry/Songwriter Louis

I Won't Let You Forget  by graceling_in_a_suit / @graceling-in-a-suit (T, 7K) I love the writing in this one. It’s one of those fics that has that kind of melancholic, dreamy feel to it that I really enjoy. Plus, it has a “no matter what, I would find you in any lifetime” vibe. So good. Songwriter Louis

For Reasons Wretched and Divine by @indiaalphawhiskey (E, 95K) Really well written, angsty, emotional fic. I love this author’s ability to draw you in so deeply (and the smut is excellent). Songwriter/Producer Louis / Singer-Songwriter Harry

As You Are by zarah5 (E, 139K) Again, great author who always delivers. This time it’s Louis as a Radio1 DJ and XFactor judge and Harry as (an adult) contestant. It also has some super sexy flirting and smut as well as a great Narry bros friendship side story. Singer/songwriter Harry

Tired Tired Sea by MediaWhore / @mediawhorefics (M, 113K) Always a favorite author, this one is beautifully descriptive and moody and charming. I was anxiously waiting for this one from the first drabbles I saw on Tumblr. I loved the way Harry’s character unfolded and let Louis in, the way Louis made space for him in his life (and heart), and the way Harry’s character struggled with and eventually found a way to live and be happy with his fame. For Your Eyes Only by BriaMaria / @briannamarguerite (NR, 3K) Harry and Louis had never broken the two-week rule before. When they did, we got If I Could Fly and Home. That’s the summary. I really can’t describe it in a better way, It’s canon, beautifully written, really touching, and this author is 👍🏻singer-songwriter Louis and Harry.

Save your loving arms for a rainy day by BriaMaria / @briannamarguerite (E, 19K) Oh, I really loved this. Beautiful writing. Lovely characterizations. I love how harry makes Louis realize who he is/what he wants, but doesn’t “save” him. And yes, I cried…not from the angst this time, but from the declarations and descriptions of feelings.
