I currently have six WIP's on the go, although I've put 3 of them on hold and am concentrating on the three I am making for one of my friends.
Her wedding is coming up, and so I am making her a secret gift for her to wear on her wedding day. It is my first lace project and I think she will really like it. I won't tell you guys what it is yet, as she might see it on here. Once she has it, I will post some photos of the finished object.
I'm also making 2 other things for her to be sent along with the wedding present. She has done a lot for me over the course I have known her, she had helped keep me sane, and this is a little something to show her how much I appreciate her.
The other 3 projects I have on the go are an 'I AM SHER LOCKED' square for my sherlock blanket, I am remaking the first on my striped handwarmers, as I went up a needle size on the 2nd and it fits much better, and I am making a pair of socks made out of the most delicious deep purple possum, alpaca and merino yarn. The pattern I am using jumped out at me whilst I was scrolling through ravelry, and it happened to be a pattern inspired by Sherlock. It's 'Sign of Four' on Ravelry. The yarn I'm using is Waikiwi Prints which I totally recommend. Incredible... It also happens to be the exact colour of Sherlock's Purple Shirt of Sex. This combination was meant to be. This combination is my otp. They go together like rama lama lama, ka ding da ding da dong.
