Starting off: Jason's introduction and the utter joke that THIS is supposed to be a 15 year old (with the little narrative bubbles trying to impress this upon us even further and failing pretty miserably).

Their first unbelievable fuck-up happening on their literal first day. Because, really, they had one job--and THIS ABSOLUTELY PROVES that, yes, they're teenagers, they can't handle the one job.

I have a lot of favorites, not least of all the early Dan Mora work. The Putty Infiltration Arc pleases me infinitely on rereading it, but silliness is hard to pinpoint, so this is the best I can do, really.

My local network habitually aired Power Rangers episodes all out of order when I was a kid – we were lucky if both parts of a two-parter ended up airing consecutively, much less anything further-reaching – so I always had a fuzzy idea of how some of the plot points lined up.

For example, I didn't realise until just now that the gag where Bulk and Skull got turned into chimpanzees wasn't a one-off thing? Apparently they just stayed that way for the next fifteen episodes, and continued to serve as the show's comic relief B-plot in spite of being monkeys, voice-acted Garfield style by their regular human actors?

Now I'm wondering what else the out-of-order airing made me fail to connect the dots for.

Tattoo Parlor AU + All the Mighty Morphin Rangers + Bulk & Skull; headcanons on what tattoos they might have

Oooo, I'm absolutely into this one. Okay, so:

Bulk and Skull run the parlor. They're the ones who did all the tattoos. They also figured out identities based on those tattoos.

Jason: has a red line-art t-rex on his wrist and a falcon on covering his back

Billy: he got a blue wolf on his shoulder and that's the only one he has, just because he didn't like the pain

Zach: Zach has a Mastodon going up his back and an axe on his shoulder

Trini: Trini, I feel like, didn't get any tattoos, but she's always there for morale support and free rides

Kim: Kim has a lot by comparison, a pink ribbon on her ankle, a pink line-art pteradactyl on her hip, a ninja medalion on her forearm

Tommy: Tommy is simply covered in tattoos and they all relate back to his time as a Ranger, with exception to one (just two dates, for his father). He's got the talking dagger, a green power coin, a brachiosaurus in black line-art on his wrist, a white tiger stripe on his sides, just covered in Ranger themed tattoos

Bulk: Bulk only has one tattoo. It's an Astro ship, matching with Skull

Skull: Skull has two tattoos, one of the Astro ship to match with Bulk and one of a literal skull that's on his calf
