my current obsessions:

cities with the highest rainfall in the world besides my own hometown. dreaming away from the hurricanes.

the sleeping villages in kazakhstan where the inhabitants would mysteriously fall into a deep sleep for days and days (some experiencing this more than once) out of nowhere to then wake up with memory loss. 

cities with the least hours of sunshine per year. tórshavn in the faroe islands is #1 and then some others are chongqing in china, sao joaquim in brasil, malabo in equatorial guinea, reykjavik in iceland, and taipei in taiwan. 

foggiest places in the states. cape disappointment in washington and mistake island in maine solely by their names really interest me (settler colonialism is one hell of a drug). a future trip to either of these places feels necessary.
