Students relate.
The feeling when you finally get to start working on what you've been wanting to study
not my photos; credit to owners
Week 1 Thu - How are you keeping active?
’Keep active’? Never heard of her... Lol okay sorry, I’m tired... I usually take walks around my neighbourhood and if I’m feeling particularly mad that day I do a workout routine.
When I go for my walks I usually listen to podcasts, have two favourites atm (both swedish, sorry) one is about people in history, for example Marie Antoinette, and the other is about sCaRy sToRiEs, real and supernatural.
I also use an app called Zombies Run, because I need a reason to move my lazy ass. Zombies Run is basically a story driven running/walking app where you can build your own camp and survive the zombie apocalypse. I really recommend this one!
Week 1 Fri - What is your favourite subject/topic to study at the moment?
My favourite classes right now are ‘Social Problems’ and ‘Sociology of Law’. Basically the subjects that I find easiest and I don’t have to think too much lol.

Favourite subject
Since I’m starting a master’s degree this year, all my subjects will be new subjects. Hence, I’m doing last year’s favourite subject, and if you’ve been following me since the beginning of this blog, you’ll know about my love for linguistics! I’ve had the kindest linguistics teacher this year, who knew how to properly explain things and with whom I could talk about random things from the English language. I’m honestly kind of sad that I won’t see him as teacher this incoming year. (But I’m having classes in the same buildings and he’s often hanging out with my fav literature teacher (it’s always tea time with them, bonding time between English and Welsh!).)
My love for linguistics bloomed during my year abroad in the UK, where I took ‘Portuguese as a Global Language’, which was basically a Portuguese linguistics class, dealing with every ‘type’ of Portuguese (from Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Angola, East Timor etc...). Even though I don’t speak Portuguese it was a quite interesting approach to the language.
[17.03.17] Studying history of art, my new love. I think I have truly discovered what love it is, since I have started I immediately liked that subject. It makes my study days less boring!! What is/are your favourite subject(s)? 😋
