Fehu
Doing a project where I draw bears with the Norse runes. First up is Fehu.
Prayer Poem to Odin and the Blessings of Fehu
Allfather Odin, Wanderer wise, Who hung on Yggdrasil to grasp the prize, I call to You with heart laid bare, For sight, for flame, for fate to share.
Through mists of mind and storms of fate, You guide the soul through every gate— One eye gazes past the veil, Where runes arise and truths unveil.
Fehu, bright with fire-born gold, Cattle’s wealth, both young and old, Abundance moving, never still, The flow of gain, the shaping will.
Bless me with Fehu’s sacred spark, That I may tend both hearth and heart. Let wealth not rot nor greed take hold, But feed the flame with purpose bold.
Odin, stir the seer in me, Teach me to give, receive, and see. Let Fehu flow through work and worth, Prosperity with rooted Earth.
In Your name I weave my days, In runes and wind, in fire and praise. With Fehu’s gift and guiding hand, I walk the path where strong hearts stand.
So let it be—by rune and song, In Odin’s light, I journey strong.

Fehu Rune - abundance, trust, and creative force
Runes teach how to create certain emotional and mental states.
The reason they are so powerful is because they cut through the mental plane and work as vectors on the subconscious level.
Once you learn how to create certain states - you understand how the surrounding reality is being built.
Each state is not only defining our present moment, it is taking us somewhere else.
Some states are more fundamental than the others and thus they have a greater impact on our lives even though they may not be on the surface.
Fehu is the first Rune of the Elder Futarkh. The state this rune creates is - the inner state of abundance!
It is considered to be the Rhune of money, but it is crucial to understand that this rune only brings money that you feel you deserve, or the sum of money that is equal to your inner state of "this is enough for me''.
It also brings protection to what you feel is yours! Having this symbol somewhere in your space makes your valuable assets (whatever they are) non - displaceable from you.
Fehu symbolises fire that creates the spark for any successful beginning. It gives inspiration to things and ideas, and helps move things further if they are stagnant.
On a deep psychology level, Fehu can be considered a Rune of trust to the present moment. It is from there that the feeling of abundance is being built.
When you trust, nobody can either take anything from you, nor add anything to your wellness, because you already feel that you have everything, be it in the sphere of finances, relationships, or inner harmony.
Use this rune to learn this essential state of being. And you will see where it will get you across all spheres.

The Web of Wyrd - It represents the past, the present, and the upcoming future. Wyrd was the main force that determined the course of events in the universe. The Norns shaped fate meaning they were the only beings who’s lives were not determined by it. The Norns lived at the base of Yggdrasil, the great tree at the center of the cosmos. .
FEHU (F) Cattle. Security, wealth, prosperity. Financial strength, luck, possessions earned or won, new beginnings, social success, energy, fulfillment of good fortune, material stability. Fehu represents prosperity and nourishes both mental and physical needs.
THURISAZ (TH) Thorn, giant. Directed force, breaking down barriers, temptations, hidden forces, hammer of Thor, strength, threats from power, to resist temptations. Thurisaz can be a reminder that strength may be acquired by observing the past and the future. To be used as a chaotic rune or for better control of yourself. This rune may also symbolize a streak of luck within your life.
KENAZ (C/K) Beacon or torch, ulcer. Light, warmth, fire, enlightenment, vision, revelation, creativity, understanding, intuition, enthusiasm in teaching and learning, opportunity. Kenaz will raise knowledge and bring the mind and spirit into a higher power. It's a representation of "a beacon of hope in the dark" meaning passing through a rough time will bring about better things in the future. It is up to you to decide how to use the "darkness". This rune can also be a warning of poor health.
ᛈ PERTHRO (P) Lot cup, female fertility. Mystery, gamble, luck, random occurrences, chance, unknown outcome, hidden things, the use of common sense, seeking knowledge of fate, pregnancy/birth. It is important to remember that the true meaning of Perthro is unknown to scholars. This rune is a reminder to expect the unexpected and to live in the moment. Make your own choices and take charge of your destiny.
JERA (J/Y) A year, a good harvest. Harvest, fertility, cycles, reward for positive actions, efforts rewarded, success earned, plenty, peace, success in endeavors, fruition of plans, good spirits. Jera symbolizes the 12 months of the year and is the 12th Elder Futhark rune. A rune of celebration, development, change and movement. A reminder that your efforts will be rewarded.
MANNAZ (M) Man, mankind. Humanity, inner being, soul, self, thinking and planning, structure, sustainability, awareness, social order, self actualization, collaboration between humans, divine influence in life. This rune refers to family matters and mankind. Use this rune to invoke social order and cooperation.
OTHALA (O) This rune symbolizes spiritual heritage, old traditions and family values. It can bring success to current projects and strengthen family ties. Hang this rune in your home to strengthen those family ties and to create a familial bond.
THE NINE WORLDS (Valknut).
