I have been MIA from ALL social media as of lately. Mainly, because I no longer find the NEED for it, but also because I have been super busy with working and web development classes.  

The good news is, I have no complaints right now in life. I have a roof over my head, I have a job, I am taking web development classes, I am working on my poetry manuscript and just a few days ago, I received a job offer for a FULL-TIME position! Only took 2 years of me graduating from college for someone to give me the opportunity! FINALLY

The school I will be working for is a private school and the children seem to come from well affluent backgrounds, which will be different for me. As, I usually prefer to work with populations that come from more less fortunate backgrounds and low-income; since that is how I grew up. The job comes with benefits and it’s well-paying. I also hope to be able to still improve my web development skills, though I would prefer to focus on the design part since I love being creative and artsy.

To Be Or Not To Be,

Lately, I have felt that I am at a dead end when it comes to my career. The position that I am in now is part-time and it is leaving me with no opportunity to grow(I am a Preschool Asst. Teacher). In my free time, I have been learning to code via Codeacademy, Ga Assembly/Tumblr and just reading up on web development. Right now, I am a bit stuck with Javascript, but hope to get the hang of it soon.

Right now it is Summer Break, so I have a lot of free time and am hoping to improve my knowledge in coding and hopefully am able to meet some people that can help me and let me know I’m on the right track. 

As days pass by, and seconds tick by. I don’t want to waste anytime this Summer. I want to be very productive--whether it be to continue improving my poetry manuscript, paint, continue coding, or just improving myself as an individual. I really hope this is a Good Summer.
