For throw back Thursday, I wanted to share my Linkle cosplay. I'm stupid proud of certain aspects of this cosplay. .. First, those crossbows. They turned out wayyyyy better than they should have given my skill level at the time. And did you know that they have magnets in them so they can attach to my boots?!? I still can't believe I thought of that. Video game physics! .. Second, I drafted that skirt pattern without making a toile and somehow it worked perfectly first try. I got incredibly lucky. And it looks great, if a bit simple. .. Lastly, the boot covers. I really didn't know what I was doing, and somehow it worked. They're beautiful, and I still take them to cons to display when I'm a guest. .. I have tutorials available for the boot covers and the crossbows on my website.
