Yeah, the FF7 Compiliation has its issues but it also gave us a scene where Sephiroth is just a young boy standing amidst overgrown ruins and the piled remains of his fellow child warriors that he felled in the sunlight, crying as he’s shown compassion and comforted for the first time in his life, brokenly admitting that he never wanted to be the inhuman weapon he was molded into by Shinra, all why the “City of the Ancients” theme plays in the background….and I think that’s great tbh.

Throw the highly advanced robot cat Cait Sith into the mix, and it makes perfect sense why Vincent looks so completely done with this party.
