This conversation between one of the most brilliant scientists of the Belt, and one of the most brilliant clones in the galaxy, happens here in Far Past the Ring!

Once again, I'm indebted to @supremechancellorrex, who gave me some very good insight on how a conversation between these two bright folks would go. It ended up much more pleasant and smooth, even though, for all intents and purposes, it should have been awkward AF.

I saw Alien Covenant and I hate Michael Fassbender so much he is the devil

I never saw Prometheus, and I recommend you watch it first before this one because it’s pretty much a sequel, but it also isn’t 100% necessary. I liked the movie overall. The “scientists” in this movie made so many infuriating mistakes though and it drove me crazy. How are you going to an alien planet with no respirator? No space suit? No plans for sterilization? Leaving cigarette butts on a pristine alien landscape? Not communicating precise symptoms to your team?Deviating from a plan several years in the making on a whim? Investigating spores with no respirator, no gloves, no common sense??? 

We have ecologists who do these things here on Earth. There are parasites on Earth. There are dangerous viruses on Earth. There are scientists tromping through the wilderness with guns (and/or bear mace which actually works better) because there are bears on Earth. It was amateur hour from start to finish. Nobody did a psych evaluation on these people. Everyone’s romantic partners are in the crew. Mess.

It was a good movie though. Very suspenseful.

Scientists make the best characters. If you want a quirky fun slightly (or not so slightly) unhinged character get them a degree and watch the magic happen
