This version remains my favourite incarnation of Ifrit-I really like the more canine appearance, and the colourful beaded necklace

The figurines for FFX Bahamut (original, not heretic), FFX Ifrit, and Valefor are some of my most wanted wishlist/white whale items, and I would do many horrible things for them (or full multiple art pieces, either works)

Tri-Disaster/Valigarmanda redesign head study.

[The creature is known for wielding three elements; Lightning, Ice, and Fire. The massive crown perched atop its head cycles between an image of the Sun, Moon, and Sky. The "modes" of its crown determine whether it can use fire, or ice - depending on the construct's inner temperature, which fluctuates wildly. All in all, Valigarmanda is definitely one of the trickier weapons in the arsenal, no matter its form or summoner.]

Here's the first (and hopefully not last) of what I called in my journal as my "Personal Projects Project". While I've posted other non-commissioned works in the past I've decided to make this sort of thing more consistent and less scattered than before, as I aim to at least produce one piece every week. Whether or not that will be the case can only be said towards the end of the year. I hope to learn something new with every drawing, and what better way to start than with this piece here, the one I will always remember because of all that goddamn hair.

Let me tell you one thing, drawing each hair individually wasn't a good idea. I'll wait for you to all collectively say "Duh!". Conveying texture is all about the details, but detailing a drawing to the point of exhaustion is not the way to go. In the end this rather simple picture took needlessly long, and I think that has to do with my approach. Next time I'll simplify, in order to scribble myself to death as I've sometimes put it.

Random ideas for Union x stuff (also, it’s implied the keyblade war never happened in this AU of HCs)

Gula and Ava married and created the blue dragon themed dragois Union.

Some heartless could be tamed and befriended, and on that note, here’s the heartless the main five fortellers would align with.

Ira: Werewolf (for the sake of riding it)

Aced: ramuh (for magic support)

Invi: mean maiden (for jojokes, as this would also exist in the present day moments of kh3)

Ava: shiva (for ball gown tailoring and waltz practicing)

Gula: ferry reaper (for stealth and intimidation tactics)

Gula and Ava often go for romantic horse rides, in their keyblade armor. At either enchant dominion, niceland, castle of dreams, or beasts castle.

Aced literally causes the atmosphere of a western move ghostown whenever he shows up to the agrabah marketplace with ramuh in tow.

Ira and enraged elk, Another of iras heartless allies, arm wrestle a lot.

Gula got his horse from the realm of sleep, as it’s a wingless black pegaslick. He also has a pet Ryu dragon that acts like a dog. He also has blue clothes.

Ava basically has indimidatong, but softie heartless allies, suck as a darkball that is basically a edgy looking Kirby, a neoshadow dancer from fire emblem, and a morning star gentle giant with a love of food.

Gula and Ava are also gaming couple nerds.

Ava loves to wear ball gowns a lot.

Gula once hoisted against sepheroith and won, for Ava’s honor.
