Just a reminder that people who still live with their parents as adults deserve respect and for you to stop being ableist. There are multiple reasons someone could still live with their parents! From invisible to visible disabilities, finance issues, and more!
Stop using the “well they’re gonna turn into a creep living in their parents basement” punchline! It’s disgusting. STOP. BEING. ABLEIST. STOP. FORGETTING. THE. POOR.
So you know the economic illustration of how being poor is more expensive than being wealthy that uses cheap boots that have to be replaced every year vs. expensive boots that last for several years as an example? I saw a post in recent times that said that they think that illustration doesn't even work anymore because of how bad enshittification has gotten, that even expensive products are of poor quality now and don't last.
They were right. The pair of $250 Redwing work boots I bought at the beginning of this year with my tax return money are already disintegrating in a way that can't be fixed. The lady at the shoe repair place told me this kind of deterioration typically happens 4-5 years into a shoe's lifespan (including time spent sitting on a shelf), and that my boots will maybe last one more season. $250 for boots from a brand I have heard name checked in a country song that last for one singular year. They've served me well in that time, but, fuck, I could have gotten the same mileage out of $80 work boots from the grocery store.
well, life just got worse. So much worse. The one income I thought I would have was just cut off. How is everything in my life right now a fight? I don't want to fight anymore. I'm tired. I want to be happy again. I want to be stable and comfortable. When I need the income the most, it just disappears. I'm honestly crying right now. I have never been so desperate before. I'm going to sound like a beggar, but I can't anything else, because I truly need help. How will it be before my car gets taken away or when will my phone get cut off? I truly hate my life right now. I truly do. How is there such little support when I need it the most?
I need to get a car, but I probably can't get a car loan for it. My car insurance company decided to total my car after I got into an accident that left me in a really bad situation. I need a car to survive here as the bus doesn't quite reach my workplace at the right time or place, it's a 2 hour bus ride one way. It's making a lot of things impossible atm. I do have the money from the car insurance company, but it's not enough to cover the entire expense for buying the car and I suck as saving money.

And So I’m done with chapter 20! I didnt think I would make it this far so yayyy! extract for the latest chapter under the cut!
He continued, "Ochacko my mom never took it off! she never even let me touch it so the fact that she's giving it to you, I- it means so much!" he said as she nodded next to him, her eyes tearing up slightly.
"Y- yeah I can't believe your mom gave me this necklace. I know it means a lot to her so I till can't really believe it." Ochacko paused before she continued, "she told me her story with your father too and I- I'm so happy, you both consider me a part of your family"
Izuku's gaze softened, this happiness on her face was new, it felt different. If he wasn't driving he would have kissed her and he knew that she would have tackled him in a hug but they were both in the car so they refrained from disruptive displays of affection but Ochacko continued talking and Izuku listened happily. He loved seeing her smile, that never changed and would never change.
Ochacko continued,"Your mom told me, how she met your father at Dagoba beach and how they met when they were fourteen as well. Did you know that?" Ochacko asked Izuku as he shook his head.
"No, I never asked mom how they met." Izuku said quietly, "But 14? Ochacko that's-"
"Just like us" Ochacko completed for him as she put her hand on his knee and he smiled. Now that he knew that his parents had also met at fourteen, it made him feel a little more at ease.
It was silly but despite knowing that he loved her and that she loved him, despite knowing that they both wanted to get married, a part of him still got scared because despite having the dream to be together, life could come in the way and he knew this from observing his parents. They both while being deeply in love were in a long distance relationship through most of their marriage and it had been tough. He hoped such a fate would not befall Ochacko and Izuku. At the memory of how his father was in a long distance relationship with his mother, his heart sank a little as he ended up thinking about how hard it would be if the same situation befell him and Ochacko.
The thought of being away from her, especially after what had happened at the club, made his heart squeeze painfully. He sincerely didn't think he could handle a long distance relationship. Not when it meant that he wouldn't be able to hold her, drive her to university, eat with her, cook with he-
Cristal Aguirre tells a stunning narrative of change and tenacity, describing how she transformed her challenges into an inspiration for others. During a terrible era highlighted by addiction and financial issues, Cristal felt obliged to create an OnlyFans account to survive. The COVID-19 epidemic caused further stress to her condition, impacting her decisions at the time. Although the decision was challenging, Cristal was motivated by her desire to balance duties while traversing a difficult period.
As Cristal progressed toward recovery, she began to reconsider her options and the path she wanted for her life. Sobriety increased Cristal's awareness, allowing her to perceive her OnlyFans account as something that no longer reflected her ideals or objectives. Cristal realized she needed a new route and began considering different approaches to construct a future that suited her ideals. This watershed event shows her increasing self-awareness, underlining the internal tension between her previous actions and her desire for a healthy lifestyle.
Reflecting on her trip, Cristal found others interested in her experiences and occasionally sought guidance on following a similar route. Instead of encouraging others to follow in her footsteps, Cristal warned against it, citing the potential dangers. Her statements indicate a protective impulse influenced by her experiences as she attempted to prevent others from making similar mistakes. This advice demonstrates Cristal's devotion to assisting others in avoiding similar problems and her willingness to guide people away from possibly hazardous decisions.
Cristal's narrative depicts a significant shift from a difficult past to an optimistic present. Throughout her journey, she has embraced the role of inspiration, transforming personal adversity into encouragement for others to follow better pathways. By exposing her failures and her route to self-improvement, Cristal provides a genuine and authentic view of resilience, emphasizing self-reflection and the fortitude required to transform one's life.
