Mentored by Nadja for less than a moon before she died in an accident, at which point Otterwhistle became his mentor. Nearly died in a sand pit at 23 moons. Has a small crush on Lupo, and was jealous of Sandyseed when the two became mates.
Dislikes Stonefin, is ok with Mousewhisker and Breezemouse, and likes Reefpelt and Frogchirp. He was surprised to be named as a candidate for deputy after Midnightstar's death, and ultimately relieved when Reefpelt was chosen instead.
Finquiver harbored feelings for both Sandyseed and Lupo before the two became mates, and has struggled to get over them. However, he also had begrudging feelings for his longtime rival, Heavyfoot. They became closer after going on herb collecting patrols together, and when Heavyfoot proposed that they become mates Finquiver couldn't help but accept.
Finquiver was happy to have their kits, and they ended up having three litters together. Although he wasn't close with all of his children, he still adored Heavyfoot and grieved the loss of Darksky, Quietclaw, Robincall, and Wildeagle.
As he got older, he looked back on a satisfying life in which he had had only brief periods of sadness. He had lost his parents and most of his siblings, and lost the opportunity to become deputy, but everything else was bright. There was always love and laughter to look forward to. There was always a clan that needed him in new ways.
Finquiver was called to Starclan peacefully in his sleep, where he was happy to be reunited with his loved ones. He looks forward to greeting his mate when his time comes one day.
