i made my first zine in february this year (bang in the middle of mock exams…geez, i love getting into new hobbies as a form of procrastination, don’t i?)

i got inspired by a youtuber named bre (@/brattyxbre), which i am pretty sure is very common!!! i love all of their videos, i actually tend to rewatch some when i’m bored lol. anyway, their videos are fab and totally got me into the craft of zine-making and just getting my things out there, no matter how silly or ugly!

it is a media zine, where i just discuss what i consumed in january of 2026 :P hoping to post it online free just for cataloguing sake!!!

all my zines (as of now) will typically be made physically. this is because i do not have a printer (the bane of my existence) !!!!!!! however, as soon as this changes i hope to make them online, as i am far more adept at that 😊

Hey everyone! This is my very first post on here and I’m really excited (and a little nervous 😅) to share that I’m starting a zine project!!!

And, it's going to be about one of my favourite topics: queer theory 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️! Queer theory is such a huge part of how we understand identity and activism today, but I feel like a lot of people don’t get a chance to engage with it beyond surface-level slogans or gatekept language.

So, I wanted to create something for everyone, without the jargon, without the elitism — just real thoughts, real questions, and hopefully something that sparks dialogue ✨

I won’t spoil too much yet 🤫, but I’ll be posting it chapter by chapter soon. I hope you’ll join me in this little journey!💕
