Day 1: Related to Pride
Happy Pride Month Everyone! ♥
For Buddie First Kiss Week: Day Three. I liked both prompts and so I sort of combined them together :)
Prompt: Soft & slow | After a fight
Eddie and Buck butting heads wasn’t an uncommon occurrence. They were both strong-willed guys and while they often agreed, there were times that they didn’t and it became a full knock-down, drag-out between the two of them. And the whole station usually got dragged into it in some way just from proximity.
Buck trotted up the stairs, fully intending on getting a cup of coffee before the start of his shift, to see Eddie already up there with the pot in his hand. He pointedly made eye contact with Buck before dumping the rest of the pot into his mug. Buck scowled at him and stood at the top of the stairs, fuming. It was so petty and childish, but when Buck and Eddie were fighting- that’s the kind of things they would do to each other.
Day 4: Accidental
Summary: Buck and Eddie’s first kiss in front of the team.

Eddie watches as Buck pulls on his t-shirt and laces up his shoes, “I’m so jealous, you get to go home and I’m stuck here for another two hours,” he remarks.
Buck smiles, “If it makes you feel any better Chris and I are going to have a great time. Some video games, maybe a movie, cooking dinner…”
Eddie rolls his eyes, “Tell him goodnight from me if I’m not home in time?”
“Of course,” Buck swings his bag over his shoulder.
On instinct, Buck leans over and kisses Eddie. The second he pulls away, his eyes grow wide as he looks at his boyfriend.
“What the hell!” Chimney exclaims. Both men turn around to see Hen, Chim, and Bobby all watching them through the doorway as they cleaned up the trucks after the last call.
The ‘oh shit’ is clear in Buck’s eyes as well. “I, uh, I’ll see you later!” Buck exclaims before nearly running out of the station. Eddie groans. Great. Now he has to deal with telling the team. Eddie turns around to find Hen, Chim, and Bobby all looking at him with wide eyes.
In the heat of the moment // Interrupted

With Chris away at camp then tension between Buck and Eddie was higher than usual. They didn’t have Chris as a buffer and things kept escalating and they were almost getting to a place that would be hard to come back from.
“Still think you could take me Buckley.”
“I know I could Diaz.”
“Give me the time, and place and I’ll be there.” Eddie challenged.
“Now.” Buck demanded.
“You sure about that. You really think you could handle it.”
“I don’t think I could. I know I could.”
They were now standing chest to chest breathing heavily.
Buck grabbed Eddie, and kissed him finally doing what he’s longed for, for so long. It was only soft for about the first few seconds then it quickly transitioned to be more rough and desperate. Hands exploring each other’s bodies and quiet moans escaping them both.
Wanting to do something and getting to do something are two entirely different things. Buck has wanted to kiss Eddie for so long, but now actually getting to he can’t believe it isn’t one sided and that Eddie wants it too. A knock on the door caused them to pull apart.
Buck groaned.
“To be continued.” Eddie grinned leaving a soft kiss on Bucks lips.

Today, he’s standing with Buck in the shade of a large oak tree. It’s a cool November morning, the California weather mild enough to gather outside in a large group, all dressed up in heavy formalwear. Today, he’s wearing a suit that complements Buck’s. The material is a little stiff, the shoes a little uncomfortable, but he doesn’t notice because damn, it’s worth it. “Eddie,” Buck begins, voice cracking and eyes already shining. Today, Eddie is marrying a total softie. (And he fucking loves it.)

"Do you remember what you asked me a couple of months ago?"
Buck looks across the table at Maddie, raises a brow at her question before bringing the beer to his lips and taking a long swig. Tonight was supposed to be poker night and Josh had bailed... to go on a date. He didn't know where Maddie was going with this, but he knew that Maddie wouldn't beat around the bush and she’d tell him.
"What did I ask you?"
"You asked me if I thought that you were lonely."
Buck shifts in his chair and lets out a low sigh. "Maddie, that was a while ago. I was just going through something."
"I know you were, Evan. You were watching Red die and imagining yourself in his shoes down the road... at the end of your life. Thinking that maybe you'll never find someone, that being a firefighter is all that you have and that somehow through all of it, you'd get left behind," Maddie says as she takes a few sips of her water before she adds, "again."

Summary: Buck spends the night at the Diaz house. All is well until Buck gets caught up in the moment.
***
Buck didn’t know how he would exactly feel after sleeping next to Eddie all night. But as he woke up, arms around his sleeping lover, he realized nothing could or would ever compare to this.
He felt amazing.
Fic: Blue Against Blue (3/18)
Eddie gets an opportunity he's wanted for a long time, to attend the advanced firefighting training course on behalf of the 118. He's fought for this, just like he's been fighting for the sake of his son Chris to keep his marriage to Shannon afloat. A fellow firefighter at the course turns out to be everything he couldn't have expected.
Chapter three is up and belongs to @buddiefirstkissweek, for free choice day.
The ever lovely @toughpaperround encouraged me to try and create something visual for this fic, so I finally caved and tried to make a moodboard. Some of the images have already been featured in the first three chapters, others are mentioned later in the story.
This chapter is dedicated to the sweet @depthandcharacter who identified an Easter egg in the last one, in how Buck introduces himself to Eddie. He does so by saying, “Buck, actually,” a nod to the title of 911′s episode 208, where Buck met the surviving partner of the elderly gay couple.
If you’ve been following or supporting this fic, thank you so much! This chapter is then also dedicated to you!
