Come in..

This is the start of our ‘small time’ journey into making our holidays, adventures both home and away into something bigger. 

We’ve started off small with an instagram account - https://www.instagram.com/smalltimetravellers/ sharing some of our ‘amateur’ photos from the first couple of adventures together and seperately. Not great, we know. We’re definitely looking at upping our insta game and our angles. 

We greatly appreciate any interactions with anyone, will respond to all messages and most definitely immensely appreciate anyone who thinks we’re worth a follow (we are, the content will be worth it)

I FINALLY made a blog

I’ve been told over the years that I should create a blog for the food I post about or wine or coffee or skincare and so on and I’ve fought it so hard and haven’t just bit the bullet and set one up, but with a little motivation and accountability from my brother, Jeffrey, I DID IT.

The thought of being vulnerable publicly makes me sweat and want to vomit, BUT I’m going to give this a go because I love to share what I am learning about or what I just read or listened to and I’ve made a list of things I want to work towards and accomplish in 2018 and starting something that scares me (creating a blog) was on the list.

So here I am with a BLOG.

Not Another Mama Blog 

So, yeah... Let's just say I am totally new at sharing my actual words with social media. Do I have any idea of what I am doing? Absolutely not. Not even a clue.

Let's dive into some personal shit. I wanted to start a blog to feel like I had something of just my own. Something outside of my identity as a wife, mother and friend. A safe place for my thoughts, if you will.

What I really hope is that this blog helps you and I both find ourselves a little sanctuary where we can be real about the bullshit motherhood throws at us daily, difficulties of being a wife and just being a weird ass millennial trying to navigate through the childhood trauma and learning how to smile through it all.

This is my second attempt at creating a blog :) The first time, I got bored and just left it there, waiting for me to come back... and I'm back lol

Lately I've been writing more than before, well, to be fair, I had never done writing before, so I believe this time I might enjoy being around on Tumblr.

You'll find a mix of everything in here, as that is what I am :)

How to on Tumblr:

As a first-time user of the social media platform Tumblr there was a lot to figure out. As a first-time user clicking around and scrolls through the pages you can see what exactly you are looking for. 

The goal of Tumblr is to pinpoint each one of their users. This includes, having user that want to write out how they are feeling, post photos that represent their feed, retweets, GIFs, or even videos that you can find or take yourself and post.

The most helpful thing from Tumblr so far is that you can go to the search bar and look through the tags for the topics that you want to post about and want to see on your feed. 

Tumblr allows me to range from blogs to look alike Instagram posts as well as taking things straight from Facebook and Twitter. This is a great social media platform to get all sorts of variety, that allows me to repost important content relating to my idea customer or viewer. As well as designing my page the way I desire. 

Tumblr allows you to be as you please, be private or public and choose your own settings as you desire. The flexibility and creativity that Tumblr gives you is what makes this social media platform so fun and easy to run!
