I finally got around to design Mello and Matt's flats (yes, plural) and drawing out this first one was just so much work but so much fun haha

I'm having 3 more in the works, so 4 flat designs total. 1) Their first one 2&3) Seperate flats for when the lived in each their own apartment 4) Shared flat when they got back together

Kaz's Bedroom

It's no secret that creating a full, rich world for my 'dolls' to play in is my hyper focus on a regular basis. I have created 3D models of the Slat, the Van Eck Mansion, and the Rietveld Farmhouse in Floorplanner. (Free to use at Floorplanner.com, and inexpensive upgrades if you want to do more with it.) Once I have them to a point where I consider them truly finished, I will work on more publicly available walk through/tours of each location. In the mean time, I have added a snapshot of Kaz's renovated bedroom to the latest story in my Kanej Wensen series, Thuiskomst. (It's at the end of Chapter 1.)

Today I'm: creating rough 3D environments with floorplanner so I can utilize them when I need to draw indoor areas that repeat in the comic a lot. Because ya boi does not like to draw these things and needs all the help available

Also ya'll should check out Floorplanner! it's really nifty and easy to grasp. You can make one plan for free but their yearly price for more saved plans etc. is under 6€, which in my opinion is pretty awesome.

so I’m stuck being unable to draw and decided to have a go at mapping out Gladstone’s house, when it occurred to me that some of you don’t know about floorplanner.com which is basically the best thing ever for planning interiors/quick and easy reference for when you need to Draw That

it’s free (for one project), it’s really good, and it’s super duper easy to use- enjoy!
