Today I will live in acceptance rather than expectations. As they say, happiness can only exist in acceptance. . Yesterday I stretched something a little too much, causing the muscles around that area to react by tightening in an attempt of self protection. Today those tightened muscles hasn't loosened yet and now they occasionally cause spasms. A little annoyed at myself for pushing my stretch in that split second, but at the same time it's given me the opportunity to be much more aware of the mechanics in that area. Listening, feeling and accepting is the practice today. . . . . . Today was the first day in as far as I can remember where I did not feel bound by time - no anxiety on an ever growing to-do list; no fear of missing out on something I should be doing; and no constant worrying of what I need to do next.
