The very heart of yoga practice is ‘abyhasa’ – steady effort in the direction you want to go.
Didn't get a chance to do this yesterday, and tbh I was a little intimidated by the Eight Angle Pose. This is another pose I had never done before, and it took some playing around to figure out how to get into it. You can see I'm a bit wobbly, but I did it!!! It helped that I had just finished an hour power practice at my studio this morning and was super warmed up! Pretty proud of my strength with this one! Day 4️⃣ of #connecttheasanas2 was Eight Angle Pose ➡️ Pigeon (a personal faaaavorite). I connected these asanas with Janu Sirsasana. Not especially creative or impressive, but it flowed nicely in my body and felt right. Butterfly also felt pretty good here! No es un simple #handstand es el hecho de estar allí, sola y explorando las posibilidades. La práctica personal te fortalece internamente tanto que necesitas verificar todos los días lo aprendido el día anterior. Aveces sientes que has avanzado y otras que estás en el mismo escalón estancado, pero soltar el cuerpo y sentir la libertad de movimiento es la mejor manera de asimilar y disponerse a avanzar en todos sentidos. Lo que expresas al mundo es una postura, pero lo que expresas al universo es tu nivel de conciencia recreada en una forma física, estás en tu presente, tu cuerpo, tu forma, tu ser...
