Here are the third filming tasks for our Idolized event! For this task block, there are two tasks for points below the cut. They are both specific tasks for the show this time. You are not required to complete all tasks (or any), so I encourage everyone to do only what they have muse for instead of draining themselves!
Reminder that task completions should be tagged only in the individual tag for this task block. Additional reminder that any tasks directly related to the show (so far, anything other than the flashback audition prompt from task block one) completed after the deadline will not count for points.
Note: Completing these tasks is worth up to 4 points total on your points page. If you plan to complete the tasks, please post them by Sunday, May 13, at noon EDT (current time EDT can be found here) in the tag #fmdidolized3. Points may only be collected once the post is liked by the main to verify proper completion. If it doesn’t fulfill the requirements or is not posted in the task tag, it will not be verified. Any threads or self-paras that take place on camera should be tagged #fmdidolizedoncam. This includes the starter and subsequent replies for as long as they are on camera. Any interactions not appropriately tagged as such will not be considered as submitted for potential airing.
Task One. Filming Thread (2 points)
Prompt: The next two weeks will involve the most rehearsal for the upcoming concert within the individual companies. There will be an all-day, all-companies full rehearsal that will be the major filming event of this filming block on May 10. The schedule for the day is as follows:
4:00AM: Rehearsal venue opens for artist arrival.
5:00AM: All artists must be checked in as present by their managers (meaning everyone will be required to arrive with their managers between 4AM and 5AM).
6:00AM: First setlist run-through begins without full costume changes.
12:00PM: Break for lunch. Artists are not permitted to leave the rehearsal venue, but may intermingle socially.
1:30PM: Select rehearsals for portions of the setlist needing the most work begin and artists monitor recordings of morning rehearsal.
4:30PM: Break for dinner. Artists are not permitted to leave the rehearsal venue, but may intermingle socially.
5:30PM: Each group or soloist reviews their costume/hair/makeup change schedule for throughout the setlist with their respective staff and get into their starting costumes.
6:30PM: Full show run-through begins with full costume changes and all lights/sound/etc. effects.
11:30PM: Full show run-through ends and artists return all costumes and see managers for performance notes.
12:30AM: Rehearsal ends, artists may go home.
Rehearsals will take place at a venue in Seoul with a similar size and layout to the venue that will be used in Jeju (Jeju Stadium). All artists must be backstage while rehearsal is running if they are not on stage. Each group will get their own dressing/waiting room and each soloist will get their own, smaller room.
diet mention tw // Cameras will be around backstage and there will also be cameras filming the stage for rehearsal footage. Lunch and dinner will be provided in a backstage catering room, and the food selection will be healthy and diet-friendly.
Idols are not allowed to post on social media about the rehearsals or upload pictures of rehearsal.
The concert’s setlist can be found here.
Requirements:
You may do as many threads (and self-paras) as you wish taking place during your the rehearsal, but only one will count for points. The thread completed for points should be the one tagged under #fmdidolized3 and should fulfill the following:
The majority of the thread should take place on camera and be tagged accordingly.
The thread should consist of at least a starter and a reply from the original poster and two replies from the thread partner (a total of 4 posts, assuming two writers) by the deadline. You are highly encouraged to continue the thread past the deadline if you wish to!
Threads not for points may be off-camera and with whomever you wish.
Task Two. Interview (2 points)
Prompt: Your muse has been pulled aside sometime during concert rehearsal to film a reflective interview for this filming period of Idolized. They will be pulled aside into a room which has been specially designated in the rehearsal venue and set up just like the normal rooms for talking head segments utilized during the show. Your muse will be asked the following questions by a producer (who is off-screen) and their answers will be filmed. They should answer in typical reality show format, including the question in their answer and answering as though no direct question was asked. The longer the answers and the more topics covered the better, since it allows more options for editors. All footage will be kept and will possibly be aired throughout the season. Idols are instructed to maintain a personal, but not overly negative attitude in their answers. Even if written in self-para format, this does not count toward any of your monthly limits for the month.
Questions
How is rehearsal going?
What have you been doing when you’re not on stage?
If you’re participating in a special stage, how do you feel about that special stage? (If not applicable, please skip this question)
Are you excited for the songs you’re performing?
Have you found such a large, intensive rehearsal more constructive or frustrating?
This concert is much longer than most concerts you may have participated in. How do you plan to keep up energy for multiple performances and/or for performing at your point in the concert?
There will be many fans present at the concert who may be attending to see another artist. If you had to introduce your music to another artist’s fan, how would you describe it?
Additional Filming:
Below you can find additional filming occurring during this time period. Everyone is free to write threads or self-paras if they are included, but threads on these topics will not be worth points. Please remember, anything that takes place on camera should be tagged #fmdidolizedoncam.
There will be no additional filming of promoting/preparing artists this time around, but there will be additional rehearsals for the special live stream Portal concert held while all artists are in Jeju for the concert. It will include all songs released through Portal by the end of May and artists participating will be filmed practicing individually for solo songs or together for collab songs in their company practice rooms whenever it fits in their schedule. The setlist can be found here. Exact details of location/date/time of the live stream concert will be given during the next task block!
For songs that have lost an artist due to revamp or someone leaving, the remaining artist(s) may choose another muse(s) to perform the song during the live stream concert as a special guest as long as they can realistically do so (ex. a male rapper must be chosen for a male rap part, a female vocal must be chosen for a female vocal part). Please message the Exclusive blog through IM before the end of this task block with your chosen special guest if applicable for approval and confirmation. If you don’t choose anyone to fill any empty space, it will be assumed the spot is filled by an unnamed NPC.

with coiffed locks now coated in MELTED GOLD & PLATINUM hues, yunyeong had never felt more attractive in his entire life : his now blond hair contrasting with the warmth of his complexion beautifully, & his ensemble crafted by the talented hands of professional stylists to ensure that he would feel confident in his performance. each article of clothing revealed everyone of his physical assets stunningly, & he hoped that this new sense of VANITY wouldn’t cause his head to swell with conceit & overwhelming pride. knowing his nature, though, he knew that he wasn’t ever going transform into a reincarnate of narcissus himself, so he was doing his best not to feel shameful of this sudden bout aplomb. small hands stretched outwards to smooth the fabric of his clothing down, & he inhaled a deep breath to settle the adrenaline that still coursed through his body after a successful completion of their run — through. being that CHARM was fortunate enough to be opening the show for all of the attendants, & now went first in the allotted rehearsal time, the maknae was now able to relax until he had to get changed for his showcase of his & théo’s promoted single, IT WILL BE GOOD. instead of taking up space in the dressing room provided for him, he decided to sit out & watch the remainder of the revues for as long as he could ; making sure to applaud each & every one of them to boost morale. with cameras spiraling all around them, yunyeong wanted to focus on a HAPPY VIRUS persona —— which is one that he was known for —— so gleefully supporting his sunbaes & hoobaes from the sidelines seemed like an effortless way to uphold his image.
however, his once smiling mouth fell agape the instant that seo minwoo ( or, rather, the love of his life ) entered the room in a pristine suit ; those tresses of milk chocolate & almond styled artfully, the cut of his outfit complimenting his toned physique, & the selected hue a lovely representation of his beloved nickname. the mere sight of his boyfriend caused his thoughts to storm over with those drenched in LUST & CARNALITY, & he shifted in his seated position to ensure that the tightening of his pants or the awkwardness of his position wouldn’t be noticed. sneakily, he blew a kiss over to UNITY’s lead vocalist, then winked afterward ; reaching into his pocket to clutch onto the cell — phone that was hidden within it, he typed out a message that was meant for blue’s eyes only, & hopefully, it would remain that way.
( outgoing imessage 💌 honey love. 💙 ) —— you look so handsome, my blue !!
( outgoing imessage 💌 honey love. 💙 ) —— i feel so lucky to be able to call you mine, & i don’t think i’ll be able to stop staring at you all day long, hehe.
( outgoing imessage 💌 honey love. 💙 ) —— if this is a sneak preview of what you’re going to look like when we get married, then my goodness... i don’t know how i’ll be able to control myself. you make my heart flutter so, so much. 💗
( outgoing imessage 💌 honey love. 💙 ) —— also, it’s unfair that you’re so sexy !! you make me wanna make love to you 500% of the time. 😫 💞
( outgoing imessage 💌 honey love. 💙 ) —— maybe we should find a secret place for us here someplace so we can mess around asjdnasnd. 🙈 😘
with that, he placed his iphone back into its confines, & waited to see if his lover would decided to read it right then & there, or if he’d want until after rehearsal was complete. either way, his gaze was still fixated on the man across the room, & all he wanted to do was attack him with hugs, kisses, & cuddles. it had been quite sometime since they’d been intimate with one another, so yunyeong was CRAVING IT now more than ever.
Trevor understood that there were some instances in which people grew apart. There were people who came into your life to stay permanently and there were people who came into your life for only a short amount of time. Then there were the people who came into your life as close friends and ended up being acquaintances at the most. He and Leo had first met as trainees in BC and had formed a friendship almost instantly. The two of them were both American and both preferred to speak English. Much like he had done with Ash, he had formed a close friendship with him based on the fact that they were both English speakers. Their friendship and bond deepened as time went on, and eventually they had grown to become intimate with one another, although that had come to an end almost as quickly as it had begun. Now things were tense and awkward between them, something that Trevor wasn’t used to experiencing.
After finishing up their rehearsal, Trevor plopped down on the nearest flat surface to catch his breath and gather his bearings, unscrewing the cap on his water bottle and bringing it up to his lips to sip from it. He hadn’t realized that he had taken a seat next to Leo until he glanced to his side. The cameras pointed in their direction kept him from getting up and walking away, what they usually did when faced with one another, so instead he just held out his water bottle in a silent offer to drink from it.
an exclusive interview with the lead vocalist & rapper of WISH, yeo yeoreum. she is represented by BC ENTERTAINMENT. per prior permission, all footage is allowed for use throughout the show. note for the editing team: these cuts are from taken from rehearsal in preparation for portal digital music project. ceo kim byungchul would like for us to remind you to focus on wholesome interactions & showcasing positive attitudes !
HOW IS REHEARSAL GOING ??
❝ i’m actually having a wonderful time in the rehearsal process for this show ! it’s been really fun getting out of the recording studio & seeing lots of people from bc entertainment, but also from other companies, too. being apart of such a massive showcase of talent is a total blessing, & i can’t wait to see how the entire concert goes over with our beloved fans. i, too, am a huge supporter of a good number of the groups & soloists participating, so deep down, i’ll be cheering for everyone from backstage ! both of my acts don’t go up until almost the very end of the night, so i’ll have enough time to prepare for them, but also to enjoy all of the other numbers being presented. other than that, i think HEART SHAKER, & our new single, WHAT IS LOVE? are really great when paired together how we’ve arranged, & i know our beautiful wishing wells will enjoy our set a lot, & that’ll make all of the hard work put into this so worth it in the end ! ❞
WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WHEN YOU’RE NOT ON STAGE ??
❝ being that we’re extremely prepared with our dance moves & vocals, i’ve been able to catch up with old friends & meet lots of new people, too, whenever it is i’m not on — stage. however, i still make ample time in order to run through everything, but i don’t want to be too overworked. i think working needs some play time in order to put on a great performance, so it’s been an absolute pleasure entertaining both ideas. i’m just glad to be apart of such a once in a lifetime experience, & being that WISH is lucky enough to close the entire show makes me smile. not only that, but the special stage that’s being prepared is quite amazing, too. ❞
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL STAGE ??
❝ the special stage that i was asked to be apart of is absolutely sensational, & being that i was given such an integral role as far as vocals are concerned makes me really excited, too. i feel honored that they trusted me with so many lines, & a good bit of choreography, too. sharing the stage with fifteen other idols that i regard so highly is a feeling i can’t really explain ; just a huge group of people from all three companies involved paying homage to some of the biggest & best artists in the industry is a great way to celebrate all of our hard work & endeavors together. not to mention that the three songs included in our medley are some of my all — time favorites, & i’m sure all the others would have to agree with that, too. it’ll be a huge delight for fans of all of the members coming together for this one performance, & heck, if i weren’t involved, i’d be so thrilled to see such an amazing mix of talent coming together. ❞
ARE YOU EXCITED FOR THE SONGS YOU’RE PERFORMING ??
❝ oh, absolutely ! it’ll be one of the first times that our WISHing wells will be able to watch us perform our latest title track, WHAT IS LOVE? & i think they’ll catch onto the dance moves extremely fast ! not only that, but HEART SHAKER was such an overwhelming success upon its release, so treating them to yet another performance of one of their favorite songs will be amazing, too. ❞
HAVE YOU FOUND SUCH A LARGE, INTENSIVE REHEARSAL MORE CONSTRUCTIVE, OR FRUSTRATING ??
❝ this rehearsal has definitely been extremely long & really detailed, but i think with how many songs are going to be performed, it’s necessary to ensure that no technical issues occur, & that all things will run as smoothly as possible. being that we’re just getting started in the promotion cycle after a much — needed break, i was so used to sleeping in later, so waking up incredibly early was a bit difficult, but seeing everyone’s smiling faces upon arrival to the venue was so special & gave all of us so much energy to push forward. that, & it really like a huge family reunion, & i think we’re all just enjoying being in the presence of close friends. it’ll help the long hours go by so much faster ! ❞
THIS CONCERT IS MUCH LONGER THAN CONCERTS YOU MAY HAVE PARTICIPATED IN. HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP UP ENERGY FOR MULTIPLE PERFORMANCES, & / OR FOR PERFORMING AT YOUR OWN POINT IN THE CONCERT ??
❝ being that this concert is so long, & the special stage i’m involved in, as well as WISH’s performance, are at the end of it all, i feel fortunate that i was given such a complimentary position. i’m able to really rest up backstage before i go on, & closer to the time that i do, i’m gonna take a lot of time to hydrate properly, stretch so that my muscles don’t get too stiff from the dancing that i’ll be doing, & run through all of my choreography & lyrics to make sure that no mistakes will be made in the process of the performance. when i starred in DEATH NOTE : THE MUSICAL a long time ago, i found that really finding time to sit in the quiet & store energy for when you’re about to go on — stage is crucial, so hopefully i’ll be able to fit in some meditation time before i hit the stage, too. ❞
THERE WILL BE MANY FANS AT THE CONCERT WHO MAY BE ATTENDING TO SEE ANOTHER ARTIST. IF YOU HAD TO INTRODUCE YOUR MUSIC TO ANOTHER ARTIST’S FAN, HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE IT ??
❝ if i were to introduce WISH’s music to a fan of another artist, i would simply say that we explore really lovely concepts, & it’s full of bubblegum pop goodness. we’re definitely release the type of music that’ll stay stuck in your head for weeks & weeks, & if even if you don’t like it at first, you’ll fall in love with it in the end. we just want everyone to have a good time, & to be happy, you know ?? not only that, but each & every one of us is so multi — talented in song, rap, & dance, & we really do strive to put on a great show every single time we step on — stage. it’s our goal to have everyone singing & dancing along with us wherever it is we get to perform, & i think that we’ll be able to gain new WISHing wells in the process of this concert project. i also hope that many of our supporters will learn to love all of the artists & groups who will be there with us, & i know in my heart that they will. ❞
jimin was somewhat excited for the interview, in all honesty. while she’d largely enjoyed being on idolized in general, having a moment to shine on her own felt nice. instead of focusing on giving a particularly mind blowing full interview, she focused on just answering the questions in a pleasant way that could stand alone without the rest of the interview.
How is rehearsal going?
“rehearsals are going well!” she exclaimed after being fed her first question. “all of 7rophy - and I’m sure everyone in general - are bringing our a-game. we intend to make this a performance people won’t want to miss.” was she overselling it? absolutely! but they really would be giving it their all, right?
What have you been doing when you’re not on stage?
“when I’m not on stage, I’m watching other performers! idolized has really given me the opportunity to get to see some groups I might not have paid enough attention to. Element is a new favorite for sure.” another exaggeration. she’d been listening to element since their debut, but in fairness, she hadn’t been present for any of their concerts until now.
Are you excited for the songs you’re performing?
“I’m very excited for the songs we’ll be performing! Hobgoblin was kind of our first really big concept change we had, and singing it makes me feel powerful. black dress is amazing too - it might actually be my favorite single we’ve put out so far! It has a more classy feeling to it, but it’s still fun and exciting to perform at the same time.”
Have you found such a large, intensive rehearsal more constructive or frustrating?
“such a big rehearsal is, um, chaotic, but in the end, i think it helps our focus in a way, you know? with so much going on around you and still only focusing on what you need to be doing, it takes some discipline.” or perhaps she just had the attention span of a teaspoon - regardless, it was interesting.
This concert is much longer than most concerts you may have participated in. How do you plan to keep up energy for multiple performances and/or for performing at your point in the concert?
“to be honest, energy isn’t really a problem for me! my members and our pepes motivate me to do my best, even when it’s hard. i want to make everyone proud, and i think that’s enough for me.”
There will be many fans present at the concert who may be attending to see another artist. If you had to introduce your music to another artist’s fan, how would you describe it?
“i would say that our music in general is a show of versatility - which is, in my opinion, our biggest strength as a group! the songs that we’ll be performing specifically are hobgoblin and black dress, which are both badass songs with trap and edm influences, but with different feels. hobgoblin feels harder, in a way, which is really cool! it’s almost aggressive in sound. black dress is a little more femme fatale - not the group, but the character type - and has a more powerful emphasis on vocals. they’re both a lot of fun, and set up a great atmosphere. even if you aren’t a fan of ours, i hope everyone enjoys our performance!”
Even though Samsoo was used to waking up early and dealing with six other sleepy guys, four in the morning was still hard on the human body, and he wanted nothing more than to get back in their van and go back to the dorm so he could sleep for a few more hours. Unfortunately that wasn’t an option for any of them. They had a whole day planned, and even when they weren’t busy doing something, they wouldn’t be able to leave the venue. Hopefully he would be able to take a cat nap here and there throughout the day to gather a little bit of energy to make it. He would definitely be needing a quick rest after the rehearsal, that was for sure.
He reached behind himself, fingers trying to grasp the mic pack the sound crew had clipped onto his clothing before he had gone onstage with the rest of his group, only to sigh in frustration when his fingers couldn’t grasp it. They had put it just out of reach for him. He glanced around his surroundings, his eyes quickly finding another person and he walked over to them. “Hey, do you think you can help me out?” He asked, turning around so that his back was facing them. “I can’t reach my mic pack, can you unhook it for me so I can give it back to the sound crew?”
Dohee’s blessed with being a morning person, and there’s a smile on her face despite the early hour at which she had to awaken. She’s pulled aside after Gal.actic runs through their songs for the first time, and by now the producers know she’s not one of the idols that will give them any trouble as far as answering their questions goes. She knows they want more, something juicy and just a little controversial to spice up their footage, but so far, she’s avoided being admonished for keeping her answers so cookie-cutter, so she sits down and gives the cameras aimed at her a shy smile.
How is rehearsal going?
“I believe rehearsal is going well. We haven’t run into any major problems and no one seems too upset with anything that’s happened thus far. Since Gal.actic is performing our new song, it’s our first time practicing on a big stage, and this is truthfully a very big stage, so things are bound to go wrong, but I know that if we, and all of the other idols involved in this rehearsal, work diligently, it will go well.”
What have you been doing when you’re not on stage?
“When I haven’t been on stage so far doing Gal.actic’s set or the special stage I’m involved in, I’ve been practicing backstage or checking on the other girls to make sure they’re doing okay. I brought a book to read if I get the chance, as well. Maybe you can come check in with me later and I’ll give you a little review of it!”
If you’re participating in a special stage, how do you feel about that special stage?
“I’m participating in the Cater 2 U special stage. It’s a challenge for me since the song is entirely in English and my English isn’t the best, but I have been working very hard in order to achieve good pronunciation and to fully understand the lyrics I’m singing. I hope everyone will be pleased by our performance!”
Are you excited for the songs you’re performing?
“I’m excited for any chance we have to perform.”
Have you found such a large, intensive rehearsal more constructive or frustrating?
“It’s been very constructive to get to work with everyone in one place. For a concert of such a size, it’s not often possible to get to have a full run through and rehearsal of the concert with everyone in one place, much less two. It often feels like a separate stage for each artist performing, but being brought together like this really does make it feel like a large, collaborative project between everyone involved.”
This concert is much longer than most concerts you may have participated in. How do you plan to keep up energy for multiple performances and/or for performing at your point in the concert?
“I’m performing two songs with Gal.actic and the special Cater 2 U stage, and they’re quite close together, so I believe I should be able to carry the energy over from the adrenaline of the special stage to my stage with the girls. Both stages are toward the middle part of the concert, so I’ll have plenty of energy from hearing all of the other acts from backstage!”
There will be many fans present at the concert who may be attending to see another artist. If you had to introduce your music to another artist’s fan, how would you describe it?
“Gal.actic’s music... has a lot to offer. Much of our music, whether old or new, can be fun to listen to in any situation: on the bus, or while studying, or even while jogging. We try to give different sounds and concepts for each comeback so that there’s a song or album that everyone can listen to and enjoy.”
”Rehearsal is going really great, actually.” The rehearsal is a tedious process, actually, especially with a lineup this big, and she’s been here since the break of dawn. Rehearsal is going to last long into the night, which is not something she’s happy about but there’s no room for complaint. At least she doesn’t have too many stages to prepare to. “It’s been a while since I’ve been able to meet my fans on the stage so I’m really looking forward to perform and to see them again. The rehearsal itself is a long process because there are so many artists, so the waiting time is quite long but it gives artists time in between to wind down.”
What have you been doing when you’re not on stage?
“I try to relax when I can.” Which is funny because most of the time she doesn’t know how to separate her job from her own interest as they more often than not overlaps. Break time and work hours blend into each other in an unpleasant mess of a combination she couldn’t comprehend or make sense of. “I take my mind off by drawing and painting, and then I listen to music to relax. But then I also go over my rehearsal stage and see how I can improve myself.”
If you’re participating in a special stage, how do you feel about that special stage?
It’s an interesting mix of ladies for this special stage, one she doesn’t quite know what she feels about. One can’t say she gets along well enough with either of the ladies for them to be called “friends”, but in front of the camera that is exactly what they are. “I’m really happy to participate in a special stage and with such talented ladies too! As a solo artist I stand on stage alone most of the time, so to be able to share the stage with other artists like this could only be possible through a concert like this.”
Are you excited for the songs you’re performing?
“Yes, of course! The songs I’m going to perform are songs that I hold dear to my heart, and I’m happy I’ll be able to be able to share them with such a large audience. I’ll work hard and do my best to share a stage and performance which people will remember for a long time. I’m also really looking forward to the special stage as well. It’s going to be such a memorable night.”
Have you found such a large, intensive rehearsal more constructive or frustrating?
Frustrating, because there’s a lot of downtime in between rehearsals and she is not the patient type to sit around and do nothing while waiting for her turn. Yet they don’t permit her to leave the venue until everyone is done. “It’s interesting, definitely. Not quite like anything I’ve ever experience before. It’s pretty grand but I think it’s going to be a good experience for me. I feel blessed to be able to stand on such a grand stage with other idols as well and I think I can learn a lot from watching others perform.”
This concert is much longer than most concerts you may have participated in. How do you plan to keep up energy for multiple performances and/or for performing at your point in the concert?
“The most important think it to rest properly. I know it sounds really easy to just rest when you’re not performing, but I tend to get very excited when it’s nearing my turn. And then I can’t keep still. For me, it’s very important to keep up the energy and protect my voice until I need to use it so I can put up the best performance I can for the audience. So what I’ll do most likely is just staying awake but still keep myself active. Not too active to the point where I waste away all my energy though, but just enough so I don’t fall sleep. And probably snack on something too; it’s going to be such a long concert after all!”
There will be many fans present at the concert who may be attending to see another artist. If you had to introduce your music to another artist’s fan, how would you describe it?
“I’d describe my music as an old friend. Someone who’s been there with you through all the bad and good times, who has seen you at your best and at your worst. Most of all, someone who’s still around and by your side despite the rollercoaster that is life that has happened. My music is inspired by everyday life; the small events and the big events. Strangers and close family and friends. So while I write and compose songs I feel like there’s a universal feeling in it, something you can relate too. It’s not too deep if you don’t want it to be, but it can also be something that speaks to you on an emotional level.”
