"Dear Taylor, You make me feel FEARLESS, baby. It's 1:13am and instead sleeping, I'm thinking you, about how you make me feel fearless. People describe me as "crazy" of you, as a "huge fan", too much in love with you. Few of them say it with a derogatory tone too, like to say:"Stop loving her. You made our head crazy!". But if I followed their advices, I would lose the smile that I have worn for 4 years. Because of course, since I've known you, everything has changed. Maybe you even know I exist. Do you know "Blank Space"? Do you? Well, it's thanks to this single that I've known you. I was 10/11 years old, I had just gone out of the era of the little songs of the series TV. My father made me listen to this song, of the different rhythm than the other songs I listened to. Just because it was different by those ones I listened to, I didn't like it. But, going on, this rhythm had entered into my mind; and since that moment it isn't gone out. Days passed, I started to memory the text. I was always so intrigued to know this "Taylor Swift". Right after had listened to "Shake It Off", I started to listen to your last albums' songs. Initially I didn't like them. They had a different rhythm from the last ones I listened to. Lyrics were different, I didn't understand them. So I decided to not listening to those songs. Maybe let those ones be archived for the future me, for the teen Ludovica. And I made it well. God, I made it well. Now I'm here, listening to "Fearless" and you don't know how grateful I am. Grateful for everything. Grateful for every lyrics. After having entered into the teenager period, my anger, my sadness, my happiness, needed to pouring out. But most of all, they needed to be figured out. Because you know, when you're a teenager you don't understand anything anymore and the only thing you know, is that nobody understands you. I backed up, I started listening to "Fearless", "Speak Now" and "Red", left achieved for the future me. And, for the first time after months, I finally felt figured out. The funny thing was that I was figured out by a girl who even knows me or my existence. And that girl were you. Right, you. Your lyrics contained all my emotions in a pleasant rhythm. Finally I could define me a "swiftie". Years passed, soon I'll be 14 years old and your lyrics and your smile became part of me. Still today I can revive my old love story just reading the lyrics of "Forever&Always". I thank you again for all you made for me, although my strange existence. It's 2:00am, I'm listening to "Fearless" about an hour. Thanks to this song I figured the meaning of the word "fearless". I found too that person with who I'd dance in a storm with my best dress. Dear Taylor, it's 4 years that you made me fearless. Love, Ludovica. P.S. All that I want for my birthday is that you read this. It will be the perfect present ever!
