Forgiveness and Gratitude for your Past Self Candle Spell
[image description: a lit blue candle dressed with herbs and with a leaft tied to it standing on a white plate; on this plate there's also some blend mix and a teaspoon; in the background you can see a part of a laptop]
During my coaching journey, a thing that came up was that I judged myself for what I now know weren't great choices, but that back then I didn't have the tools and information I needed to take.
So what did I do? (beside getting coached about it) A candle spell to forgive my past self and be grateful for everything my past self learned - and that I know consequently can know only bc of that.
Note: while I was thinking "I could make a spell for it" the image of this specific candle popped in my mind, and blue has a meaning for me and my past, but I would honestly advice to customize with the color that you think suits best!
What I used:
Spell ingredients:
a blue candle
honey (for sweetness, to oint and as my magical signature)
salt (for protection - I always add this!)
rosemary (for purification and protection)
lavender (also for purification and protection)
thyme (to let go sorrows of the past and bc the word is so similar to "time" that I feel it gives the passage of the time"
rose petals (for self love)
a sage leaf with written "self guilt" (to banish it) (of course you can totally customize what's written!)
Tools
a little bowl
a fireproof bowl or plate
a teaspoon
a cord
a pen
What I did:
I made a blend with salt, thyme, rosemary, rose and lavender in a bowl
I ointed the candle with honey, using a spoon to avoid getting my hands too sticky
With the help of the teaspoon I put the blend of herbs on the candle
I wrote "self guilt" on the sage leaf, then I used a little piece of cord to tie it to the candle
I put the candle on the fireproof plate and lit it
Once the candle had completely burned, the spell was over! I decided to throw away the leftovers in the trash, to properly simbolyze letting go
